Evaluate your Staff I was due for new glasses, so decided to try visionworks. Because of the strength, the glasses took some time to come in. When they arrived, I tried to wear them but became very dizzy and could only see very far away. I couldn’t walk in them due to the distortion. The glasses were unwearable. I called the store and spoke to Dave. Dave told me that I chose ‘distance’ during the ordering process and that I should have explained what I wanted. He proceeded to ‘educate’ me on my error during the ordering process. I understood that these glasses were not appropriate for reading, but walking should be possible. I also did not choose anything during my visit, but simply ordered glasses. I continued to ask why it would be ‘normal’ not to see clearly enough to walk. Dave was condescending and almost sarcastic in his responses and told me to ‘just come in’. I ultimately returned and worked with Jonathan. Jonathan was able to determine that the frames (lenses) were too large for the prescription and fit me for smaller, more appropriate frames. I have not received the glasses, but feel better after working with Jonathan. The reason for 2 stars is only because of Jonathan. My interaction with Dave warrants -0 stars.
