Visionworks

This was my first time not using an online service to buy glasses and I much preferred it. The doctor was kind and attentive. After the eye exam, I chose my frames and placed the order on a Thursday. The glasses came on Tuesday, which was so quick! I love the way they look. They don’t give me the impression of “feeling cheap” when I pick them up. The only downsides are that the base pair of lenses covered by insurance don’t seem to include anti-reflective coating, so my eyes look glassy on Zoom calls. Maybe if I upgraded to the polycarbonate lens or asked about the coating, I could have gotten it, but they have an alleged “100 day guarantee” so I’ll give it time to see if it really bothers me. Also, I ran into an issue where I didn’t get my receipt after purchasing my glasses due to printer issues, but I received a copy by asking Visionworks customer support a couple days later. All in all I got the receipt, but it was an extra step I had to take. I wouldn’t mind going here again, and I would consider Visionworks for future exams and purchases. Consider this really a 4.5 star rating if Google allowed.

I had been going to UofM Kellogg eye center for my exams. I decided to try Vision Works after my husband was able to get in quick and had a good visit. I was able to schedule a next day appointment which was convenient. When I arrived there was really no wait. The provider was wonder and very patient. She recommended bifocals for me which my previous provider had not. I was a bit nervous and wondered if I would like my script. I had them change my lenses out of existing frames. They were ready in about 2 weeks. Pick up was easy breezy and when I put on the glasses I couldn’t believe the difference! I can see so much better!!!! I am very pleased and will be getting my exams here from now on!

My glasses broke unexpectedly, and I suddenly needed an urgent appointment. They were able to squeeze me in, and every single person I interacted with was an absolute pleasure!! From the manager to the optometrist to the gentleman who helped me choose new frames, the entire team was truly phenomenal. I felt taken care of from start to finish and will most definitely be returning :)

Very professional and helpful! The doctor we had was great and she was very very knowledgeable. Jacob was very kind and it felt like he genuinely loved his job and was so so helpful!! We had a great experience and will continue going every year!

Services were great! Eye exam and ordered frames back out the door in under 45 minutes. Staff was very helpful in explaining how my insurance program worked. Doctor was very thorough and explained the results and answered all of my questions.
