From the reception I received when I called with questions about my insurance coverage to my visit at the VisionWorks East Northport location, the entire process was seamless. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and invited to browse a lovely selection of eyeglass frames with tiered yet reasonable pricing. Sherri and another staff member were extremely helpful, patient, and accommodating as I tried on several frames to find the best fit. Their input and honest opinions made the decision-making process much easier. Sherri was also meticulous with my eye measurements and took the time to explain options that suited both my visual needs and my budget. Overall, it was a refreshingly pleasant experience, and I appreciated the professionalism, patience, and personal attention I received.

Went here for the first time for my son's eye check up and new glasses. The optometrist was very caring and did an excellent job in getting the best eye prescription possible for my son! The technician doing pre-exam eye testing was also caring and excellent. There were plenty of frames to choose from and the fitting service we received was excellent.
Great service! Everything was handlers super quick but I didn’t feel rushed like I do at other places. They also slowed down to explain the blue light filtering and lenses options to me.
I use Vision Works for all of eyeglass needs. Because I have changing situations with my eyes, I use their services often throughout the years and have been helped by various employees, all of which have been very competent. I was helped by Jessica yesterday, who did an excellent job assisting me with my needs
I have had bad retail experiences before, but never I have had bad retail experiences before, but never one that cost me $300. That sum was what my insurance was willing to pay for lenses and frames. I thought it would be sufficient from looking at discount prices. I didn’t know how high retail prices were. According to the man I was dealing with, for $300 I could afford no combination of their cheapest frames and lenses that would correct my vision for distance, reading, and in-between as my prescription called for. He proposed that at least he would order glasses for distance only so “the $300 will not be wasted.” I am 74 and my brain is not as sharp as it used to be. Not until I had left did I realize that he had used the whole $300 and I had no way to read or view my computer monitors. I needed the latter for a remote job. I thought I could cancel the deal under one of my state’s “cooling off” laws. Surprised to learn that this sale was not covered. I’ll file a complaint with the BBB. What else can I do? (The ophthalmologist who conducted my eye exam was excellent and I have no complaint against her.)
