I had a great experience at VisionWorks! The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my visit. The doctor was thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions. I also had a wonderful experience with my contact lens fitting. Everyone made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend VisionWorks for their excellent customer service and eye care!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is rude, horrible. DON'T GO. NO DOCTOR ON SITE EVER. I went twice, and both times they gave me wrong script. Paid $77 for wrong prescription, and they absolutely refused to return my money knowing they gave me 2 wrong scripts. The women there are very rude. I ended up going to an out of network $190. FINALLY GOT THE RIGHT SCRIPT. Went to OPTYX in Port Jefferson. Awesome, kind, patient. Definitely recommend. STAY AWAY FROM VISIONWORKS IN PORT JEFFERSON on Rte. 112. IT'S NOTHING BUT A SCAM. AGAIN, DO NOT GO!!!
This place is a hot mess. I came in to get a redo on my exam because it was incorrect twice. The optometrist acted annoyed that I needed it checked and acted like it was my fault. After the exam, the front desk staff shooed me away when I was visibly upset. They also wrote the wrong email address with someone else's name on my prescription. Now I'll be wearing my old glasses until next year when I can get a new prescription elsewhere because I'm too scared to spend money on another pair of glasses and risk it being wrong again.
Had a pleasant experience yesterday at visionworks in Setauket. Made my appt online one hour before, went in, little wait time and everyone was friendly and efficient.
My dog damaged my brand new glasses Vision works told me they would replace them free of charge, I was so happy
