The location is accessible by car or public transportation. It’s comfortable. My technician and doctor’s exams verified the diagnosis of the ophthalmologist that treats me. The prescription was correct. The frames I liked were available. Delivery was ahead of schedule. Everyone there was helpful, especially Mr. Benjamin who knows everything and how to apply it. This is my third year coming back. I was given another company as a choice but I will be back!

Extremely understaffed. So sad our insurance got changed to this. Son went in for contacts prescription and it took weeks for them to schedule the class to get them. This was only scheduled after several calls and physically going into the store to ask. Good luck getting through on the phone anyway. They said they would call to schedule another class because he needs to be able to take the lenses in and out twice and only did it once. Ok we understand that. It’s now been weeks and still haven’t heard back again to schedule. They should just refund us for the exam so we can go somewhere else. Avoid if possible.

I have been using Visionworks for decades. It’s always a pleasure to shop there. The selection of frames is large. I went yesterday and was helped by AJAI, the licensed optician. A very knowledgeable person. He is very helpful, and walked me through all my options. I recommend this location highly.

I would give negative stars if that were an option. I made an appointment and waited a long time to be checked in. A week before the appointment, I received a call confirming both the appointment and my insurance information. I also completed all the forms they sent me ahead of time on the same day I received them. When we arrived, they told me my appointment had been canceled without any explanation at first. One staff member, Sarah, even told another employee right in front of me that she had already confirmed everything with me. The employee assisting us seemed completely confused and asked me to wait while he tried to figure out the issue. After waiting, he finally told me the appointment had been canceled because it was supposedly not confirmed. I asked why no one informed us earlier instead of making us wait 25 minutes, and his response was simply, “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t know that.” Very disappointing experience and extremely unprofessional communication.

The Staff was attentive and helpful. Frame choices are plentiful and prices were reasonable. I’ve tried the others in Yonkers. Vision Works are that best.
