When I first made an appointment here, I was a little nervous that I would not receive personable care since it is a chain business. I was pleasantly corrected!! Each person working here is personable, knowledgeable, and actually takes the time to understand my needs, ask questions, and best of all, work hard to ensure I get the best deal for my contacts and glasses. I never have a hard time getting an appointment (which is why I left my last eye doctor) and appreciate the open communication! Highly recommend!

Dr. Liaw was very thorough in his examination. He was extremely knowledgeable and respectfully took the time to answer all my questions to my type A level of understanding. Truly, he had a lot of patience; but was also authoritative and kind. Jamie at the front was equally knowledgeable about their products, insurance, and sales. It was a great experience. I won’t lie, I didn’t go in with great expectations about an optical retailer. However, there is a great team of professionals working in this store and they really do communicate and work well together. I definitely felt like they cared about my needs and personal preferences. Dr. Liaw and Jamie proactively offered solutions to my eye care concerns and I never felt pushed to buy anything. There were 3 others working in the office during my appointment too, and they were all equally wonderful. I apologize for not remembering their names. I feel quite comfortable about returning to Visionworks Concord for my ongoing eye care.
Zero customer care and zero communication. Called to schedule an appointment and was never informed it would be virtual with a doctor. Arrived for my 920 appointment and was informed it was virtual with a doctor there. Went back for the pre screenings and sat and waited for 25 minutes after my appointment time for the pre screenings to start. Was not explained a single form I signed and ended up walking out paying well above my insurance coverage because they pushed me through every screening machine they have there. After a complete cluster of attempting to answer the doctor’s call they finally figured it out. The doctor stated I would be staying with the same prescription. I got home to order my contacts and my prescription is wrong. I called yesterday and asked for it to be corrected and was told I would get a call back today and nothing. Seems to be they want to push as many people in and out as possible. They do not value peoples time or eye care. I would recommend going anywhere else but here if you want to receive genuine care at an eye doctor.
The Associates at Visionworks were extremely kind and caring and willing to listen to my concerns. By the time I left I felt very good about my visit and going forward with my eye care!
I went to pick up my glasses and had a long wait. They only had one person working. There were 2 people ahead of me and 3 people who came in after me waiting to pick up their glasses so obviously they had a long wait too. Also the buy one get one free isn't straight forward. There is a big catch and you end up paying to get the 2nd pair. There was suppose to be a non glare added to my glasses and yet it wasn't done. Now they want me to pay more money to have it added on my glasses. Wasn't my mistake it was theirs. Shouldn't have to pay for their mistake.
