I made an appointment this week for my 7 year old daughter to have an eye exam at this location online. I entered the date of birth information for my daughter on the online form. All throughout the week, I received various text messages reminding me of the appointment. I even got a text message where I was asked to confirm the appointment. However, when I arrived at the office the receptionist informed me that unfortunately they do not provide eye exams for children under 7. When I asked why I wasn’t notified before leaving my home and driving to the appointment, the receptionist told me that they had in fact called me. I reviewed my phone records and told them that I did not have any missed calls from their office, nor did I have any voicemails. But I had many text messages reminding me of the upcoming appointment. The employee weakly replied that maybe the call did not go through. There was no apology for the inconvenience they caused me. No offer to refer me to a doctor that could see my child. No attempt to try to make the situation right, given that they clearly failed to communicate with me that they do not service children under 8. I left the office feeling frustrated and scrambling to try and find another appointment on short notice.

WORST EXPERIENCE. I came in last week to get an eye exam. Dr. Krav was amazing and comforting. She actually cares about her patients and explains everything in detail. She was concerned about the results from one of my tests so we scheduled a redo for today. Unfortunately she wasn't there today so I saw Dr. Han. After multiple times of me explaining to both the front desk girl and Dr. Han that I only came in for a test redo, they were still confused. After Dr. Han finally came to the understanding that I only came to get the retinol test redone, they didn't know how to turn the machine on. When they finally turned it on, I was told (in a rude manner) multiple times that I wasn't understanding the instructions and to come back tomorrow to see Dr. Krav. Dr. Han was rude and unprofessional. I will never come back here.
The Doctor who treated me. Dr. Krav was AMAZING!! She is so thorough, She's kind relatable and makes you super comfortable. She is awesome. However everything else not so much. My appointment was for 10:20 and when I walked in a lady walked in right before me so she was on line ahead of me. She walked to the counter and said she was there also for a 10:20 appointment. So I immediately thought why are they double booking appointments?. Then she gets seen, at around 11. And I don't get seen till about 11:45 !! An hour an half after my scheduled appointment. The doctor was amazing but the wait time was horrific and it's not like they care they showed zero empathy for the fact that we were waiting so long
Visionworks Staff was Excellent and Speedy Prompt Service. Jewan was my staffer she was amazing. She went the extra mile and called my insurance and asked questions for me .Wonderful Experience. I’ve been going to them for 6 years ❤️❤️👏👏
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Paramus location. On May 25, I ordered two pairs of glasses and later received a text message stating that both pairs were ready for pickup. When I arrived on June 5, I was informed that one pair had been made with the wrong frame color. Instead of the black frames I ordered, they arrived in tortoise brown. I was told this would be an easy fix because the frames were identical except for the color and that the lenses simply needed to be transferred into the correct frames. I returned on June 19 to check on the status of the glasses and discovered that nothing had been done. The glasses were not ready and had not even been processed. I was promised that the order would be rushed because these glasses contained my new prescription. After waiting several more weeks, I called the office and was told the glasses would be ready for pickup on July 6. I made a third trip to the store only to be told that the glasses were still not ready and would need to be reordered. Due to what appears to have been a clerical error, I have been without my new prescription glasses for more than a month. Even more frustrating, I have made multiple unnecessary trips to the store after being given incorrect information about the status of my order. Mistakes happen, but the lack of follow-through, poor communication, and repeated misinformation made this experience incredibly frustrating. I hope management takes steps to improve customer service and order tracking so that other customers do not have to go through the same experience.
