After a frustrating experience at Stanton Optical, my visit to Visionworks in Simpsonville was a complete turnaround and that was entirely because of Drew. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Drew’s warm presence, beautiful and kind eyes, and a level of professionalism that immediately put me at ease. He took an incredible amount of time to walk me through my vision needs, frame options, my insurance benefits, and every available promotion in a way that was clear, patient, and never rushed. I asked a lot of questions because I wanted to fully understand both my vision and what made the most sense financially, and Drew made sure I understood every option. At one point, I even offered to do my own research and come back later, but Drew insisted on reviewing everything with me so I could make the most informed decision possible. He helped me understand how I could strategically use my benefits for contact lenses while also taking advantage of the 60% off glasses promotion, ensuring I maximized value while staying within my coverage. Although I decided to wait for a trial pair of contacts before finalizing my purchase, there is no doubt I will be returning and I will absolutely be working with Drew. His approach to the patient and customer experience reflects true leadership, accountability, and genuine care. This is exactly the type of service I look for and exactly the kind of person I would want on my own team. Drew is a true asset to this organization. Thank you again for your time, your patience, and your commitment to doing what is right for the customer.

I had a great experience at VisionWorks Simpsonville with the doctors from The Nigh Group! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and surprisingly quick. My progressive lens glasses were ready much sooner than expected, and I really appreciated how they texted me the moment my order was ready — pickup was an absolute breeze. The staff made sure my glasses were the perfect fit and explained their 100-day guarantee, which gives me peace of mind knowing I can have my lenses changed if my eyes don’t adjust properly. I’m just so grateful to be seeing clearly again — and I’m very happy I chose this clinic to help me do that. Highly recommend! 👓✨
I can’t brag on this place enough!! I’ve been going to vision centers for over 3 decades now for myself and my children. Today was the ABSOLUTE BEST experience I have had at any vision centers/eye doctor’s office. From the moment my son and I walked through the door (on a very wet and dreary day), we were greeted by a cohesive team of professionals who were friendly and hospitable. Despite the fact the our appointments were late, every employee seemed genuinely happy to be there and even happier to help my son and I during each phase of our visit. They even fit me in with no waiting. The team work they displayed was exemplary, and it ensured that at no point were we just waiting and biting our nails hoping we hadn’t been forgotten like is often the case at other vision centers. You would think the staff had worked together for years and were all besties. They just seemed to click and feed off the positive vibes. (Did I mean how clean and inviting the environment was?! Top notch!) The highlight of our experience was Dr. Nigh. He has a wonderful bedside manner; is easy to engage with; and took the time to thoroughly explain everything he was seeing. I have worn glasses for almost 40 years and thought I knew everything I needed to know about my vision. Dr. Nigh went the extra mile to provide so much detailed information about our exams and options. I love when doctors explain everything to me; I felt like a partner in our care plan. He even offered explanations regarding options for helping my son’s vision in the future. This is the first time I have ever gone to an optometry center and the optometrist wanted to do a follow up to discuss next steps. Dr. Nigh cares about his patients and is eager to help his patients have the best vision outcomes. That brings me to Damon, the store manager/ optician. He was on top of everything. He is the reason the vision center is flourishing. Damon is pleasant, relatable, professional, and just as thorough as Dr. Nigh. If you are old enough to remember the sitcom “Cheers”, then you will understand what I mean when I say Damon treated everyone that walked through the door like a “Norm!” He made everyone feel welcomed, seen, and like we were an established member of the Vision Works-Simpsonville family. I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Vision Works-Simpsonville!
Found my place ! So grateful I found this place. Everybody was super pleasant and helpful, dr. Nigh provided an excellent care and options for the solution (3 different prescriptions for contacts to try). On another occasion Damon, the manager was exceptional, spent probably around 40 min on checking my very much off the prescription glasses that I ordered somewhere else online, explained in detail what was wrong with them and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I am so glad I ended up with them since I am quite new in this area and I spent quite some time researching optometrist / optician offices.
My family and I have been going to the Nigh Eye Group for over 28 years on Haywood Rd., Greenville. We used the Visionworks next door for glasses and contact lenses. The management of the Visionworks has changed, and not for the better. They would not take my contact lens over the phone. Too, busy. I live in Simpsonville and just recently found out we have this practice here. My contact lens order was promptly filled. I also just went in for glasses. A seamless experience. I can't say enough about the Nigh Eye Group and the Simpsonville Visionworks. A+
