Vista Eye Care

I do a decent amount of Google reviews but I really feel passionate about this one. I had a concern about a swollen eyelid and went to the urgent care next to Vista Eye Clinic. Urgent Care knew that an opthalmologist was my next step and scheduled an appointment on my behalf. I was able to get in the next day (although UC did say they sometimes get same day appointments.) I called to make sure I didn't need to fill out a ton of forms (I didn't) and to check if they took my insurance (they did). I was greeted and easily checked in. I waited less than 5 minutes. Yolanda took care of me and did the preliminary tests to get me set up to see Dr. Caitlin Wong O.D. Yolanda is an excellent and patient communicator. She probably asks the same questions millions of times but it didn't seem impersonal or rote. She explained any questions I didn't understand and was easy to interact with. Dr. Wong is attentive and smart! She let me know that it was a great thing I came in sooner rather than later because what I had can move to a different part of the eye and is easily treatable with antibiotics. She listened to my concerns, the exam was not uncomfortable (basically the same as an eye exam) and she was able to diagnose me quickly. She made my appointment quick but still allowed me to feel heard. When I asked what the diagnosis was she wrote it down for me and gave me a paper prescription in case the online one didn't go through. I haven't had need for eye care beyond glasses before, but they made it easy and not nerve-wracking. I just visited Vista Eye Clinic's social media and see how they celebrate their team members. It is a great practice and I highly recommend them.

Our entire family has had their vision care taken care of at Vista. Not only are the Drs. Abert extremely competent, but also engaging as well. Staff is on the ball particularly Kayla who is an expert on eyewear. The front desk is friendly and competent with insurance. Easy to navigate billing and website. End to end this is the very best eye practice in Colorado.

I had such a great experience here. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The doctor was kind, patient, and really took the time to listen to me and explain everything in a way I could understand. I never felt rushed or like just another patient. I truly felt cared for, and that meant a lot to me. I’m very happy with my experience and would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for an eye doctor who genuinely cares about their patients.

Great first exam for my 4 year old. Everyone was so nice and fun. Clean and comfortable. My little guy loved the experience and the doctor was so patient with all his questions. Thank you vista eye care!!

I was referred to this practice by my prior eye doctor in Tempe, Arizona. I’m pretty impressed with the smooth operation they have there. It’s very fast and efficient. The doctor herself was friendly and engaging so I was pretty happy with the whole thing. The only reason I didn’t award five stars was because the last part, where you’re fitted for new frames was a price shocker. Compared to past frame departments I’ve frequented, the price here was double what is has been on similar style frames. Usually insurance covers a small amount and i have to cover the rest. But here, i just about fell out of my chair when she told me the total was going to be almost $700. Um, wow. That’s over the top. I think management needs to revisit the pricing model here. She was able to bring down the price for me which was a gig help but most people (and seniors) will find it difficult to afford most frames that are sold there. Especially when you add the extras like glare protection. Other than the out of pocket cost at the end I’m happy with the examination experience I received.
