I purchased a pair of eyeglasses at Visual Care Assoc. using a prescription from another provider. After wearing the glasses for several months they just didn't seem quite right. I took them back and they verified the prescription was correct. Dr. Bickel offered to retest me and the results were different from the previous one. Dr. Bickel sent the glasses back using the new prescription and when I received them they were perfect. All this with no extra charge even though there was no error on Visusl Care's part. Dr. Bickel and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Visual Care Associates for all your eye care!

I was referred to Dr. Bickel through the Ohio Health emergency care since I didn’t have vision coverage. He was nothing short of amazing. I was seen within 24 hours and he made sure I was as comfortable as I could be considering the pain. The receptionist immediately noticed my light sensitivity and turned down the lights. They truly exceed standard practice of care. Highly recommend.

I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt, but they continue to disappoint. The exam goes great, but getting your glasses, it's like they hold them for ransom. Even if you pay the fee to have them expedited, you don't get them. I've tried calling over and over and they let it go to voicemail every time. They answered on the first call but the person answering was so hard to understand that when I asked them to repeat themselves, they hung up on me and would not answer any further calls no matter what line I called from. Saturday (in 3 days) will be a month I have been without glasses and am having horrible migraines causing me to miss work. I will be going elsewhere after I get these glasses that I have already paid for, if I even get them.

The doctor was very knowledgeable, friendly, and has a good sense of humor. He explained everything, which made me feel comfortable. My visit was great!
