Dr. Knuckles and staff are very professional and friendly. I am so happy they were able to see me so quickly for an appointment to examine my eye for a problem I was having. Dr. Knuckles was very thorough and answered all my questions. I am a self pay and the cost was very reasonable for the services I received, i am very impressed with Dr. Knuckles. I recommend using Volusia Eye Associates.
My appointment at Volusia Eye Associates was needed after I accidentally broke my glasses while doing yard work. I really appreciated the professionalism and caring attitude of Dr. Knuckles and Corey during my eye exam. My prescription for glasses changed, so I had the pleasure of working with Zachary in the optical department. Even though the Edgewater office was very busy, Zach took his time and made sure the order for new glasses was accurate. His pleasant personality helped me and other customers feel comfortable with the process. When I picked up the new glasses today, the office was very busy. However, Zach took his time and made sure the prescription was correct, and made adjustments to get the perfect fit. I hope I never break my glasses again. However, If I do I know the best place to go, Volusia Eye Associates!
Have to change my review due to the fact they no longer except my insurance. I don't know if they canceled it or the insurance company canceled it. Took day off from work to go to appointment last Tuesday and found out when I got there, they no longer excepted my insurance. They claim they tried to call me, which I never received any call, and they did not say anything when they did call to confirm the appointment. I started going to them when it was Dean and Miller which was many years ago.
This office is my Doctors for eye care. I am beyond happy with my latest appointment for service. Both Dr. Heck and Dr. Knuckles are very thorough and spend the time to go over their findings. Zachary out front is an extremely careful and thorough technician and always helpful. The support staff are also the best. I am looking forward to future appointments.
My husband is a patient of Dr. Knuckles and Dr. Routh, so when my glasses were damaged during a recent fall, I went to Volusia Eye Associates in New Smyrna Beach. Finding the office closed for remodeling, I went to the Edgewater office, and was pleased to see both Zack and Chad in the optical department. They were so friendly and diligent about the repair of my glasses. Zack was very knowledgeable and had them fixed so quickly, while I waited. Chad helped my friend with a problem without a second thought. We were so pleased by their willingness to help without us even being regular patients. I will definitely return for future eye care visits. Thank you, Chad and Zack!
