Volusia Eye Associates

After experiencing flashes & floaters I scheduled an emergency appointment with Dr. Knuckles, O.D. I'd never been to Volusia Eye before but they worked me in that same morning. Kathy was professional and caring. She took my concerns seriously. Every single employee worked hard to make my experience smooth and comfortable. The exam was thorough. I got my answers quickly, and have a plan I'm comfortable with. Highly recommend.

My wife Linda and I are new to Volusia Eye Assoc, and are grateful we found them. The Drs Routh and Knuckles were so caring and professional and spent considerable time going over the procedures and follow ups,. The staff of assistants and office personal are equally courteous and caring that help make each visit enjoyable . I can't say enough great things about Volusia Eye Associates - beginning with my initial contact with October, to the staff in Edgewater, and Dr. Knuckles!! I had injured my eye and they were able to get me an appointment within an hour!! Everyone was so professional and caring!! I received a very thorough examination and plan to care for my eye. I would highly recommend Volusia Eye Associates!! THANKS so much for all the caring and compassion in addressing my emergency!!!

I do not recommend this location. I called and scheduled an appointment for a problem I had been diagnosed with and needed injections for. The appointment setter understood the reason, scheduled me accordingly. I drove almost 2 hours (each way) for the appointment. Got there, and they wanted to conduct a dilated eye exam. I told them NO. I am here for a particular diagnosis and treatment of which the Dr is one of 4 specialists in the state of FL. I do not need a dilation. I cannot drive that distance with dilation nor need an eye exam, I recently had one done. They said well, you will need to reschedule, I called to reschedule and was told (after a number of calls) that the Dr that does this is NOT accepting new patients? What? I wasted over two months on this, my money, my time. I asked if he had a referral for me. No. HORRIBLE practice . Inefficient service, staff. Go somewhere else. Very very unhappy. No apology, very unprofessional

Excellent service from initial staff welcoming to the practice and attention to details; the doctor and clinical staff were most competent and careful, and the doctor (Dr. Knuckles) was most informative and answered all my questions about my eye care needs! Highly recommend their services.
