No matter day or time of your scheduled visit to Walkersville Eyecare, you will be greeted, warmly and only wait a few minutes, no matter how busy they are. All the staff are very competent, professional, helpful and kind. Dr. Allgaier is personable, has a good sense of humor and provides excellent patient care. I’m excited to get the new glasses that the super kind, astute staff helped me choose. On occasion, when I’ve walked in without an appointment for my glasses to be adjusted or to ask some questions, Walkersville Eyecare has accommodated me. We are a family of four that really enjoy getting annual eye exams at Walkersville Eye!

The doctor took the time to go over everything thoroughly and made sure I didn’t have any concerns or questions. The person who helped with the glasses (Scotty) was super friendly and helpful, making sure that I knew all of the options, and helpful with suggestions. My experience has always been exceptional at Walkersville Eyecare.

Walkersville Eyecare is truly the best! They are so helpful, especially as your eyes change with age. They are so patient , they provide samples of different types of contact lenses and let you try before you buy. Their staff is so helpful and kind! Their prices are competitive . The doctors are so smart, knowledgeable and intuitive! I don’t think it’s possible to find a better place for your eye health or needs.

They were SO accommodating. I am using a walker and alone right now, and they made exceptional efforts to make it a safe and easy experience. Their doctors/optometrists are fantastic and they found the perfect prescription. These guys are fantastic all around. Bless them.

Dr Allgaier had the patience and expertise to figure out my difficult prescription for reading glasses, mid distance glasses and distance glasses. He is the first one in my 75 years and did the best, plus he’s patient and a nice person. The people working in his office are nice and helpful, too!
