I accidentally made an appointment here when I meant to make it at a different location. Thank goodness for that as I was just interrupted and hung up on by a snarky woman over the phone who was confirming the appointment. I was polite and was trying to explain myself but apparently she was not trying to hear any of that and hung up on me after saying thank you. Saying thank you does not give you the right to hang up on somebody. Please get rid of whoever is manning the phone at this vision center as she was incredibly unprofessional and rude.

I am beyond disappointed with the service -or lack thereof- at the front desk. When I arrived the rep didn't even acknowledge my presence. She stayed glued to her computer mumbling why why? to herself without looking up. When I finally asked if she knew I was there, she snapped yes and told me to wait. After handing me the application she disappeared. I had long finished the paperwork before she reappeared and ignored me again to help someone who just walked in. To make matters worse she was incredibly dismissive of the new guess; she kept commenting that the woman's Spanish was odd, failing to realize the person was actually speaking Portuguese. She seemed completely overwhelmed, unhappy, and lacked basic communication skills. I eventually walked out. If you don't like interacting with people, the front desk is NOT the job for you!
Most of the previous reviews are outdated from several years ago. The employees at Walmart Vision Center are not the same as before and are absolutely amazing! Everyone is so friendly and so knowledgeable. It was quick and efficiently done. Thank you.
The manager optometrist was completely unprofessional. I came in to the closest walmart to me to return a pair of glasses. I was speaking to an associate optometrist that works there and she went to go ask the manager if I can return the glasses at this location because I had originally bought from the Estero Location. The manager then said “it’s only 20 minutes away” in a rude tone as if I came to this location for no reason. But I would have to have gone 20 minutes away to and from totaling 40 minutes plus the amount of time it is to process the refund. Estero is actually 30 minutes away so, to and from it would be over an hour drive. She then gossiped about me to her clients she was helping? again repeating that it was “only 20 minutes away” and she laughed about it with the patients she was helping. Super unprofessional and rude, definitely not a good representation of a manager.
The service was very good. I would highly recommend Mariangel. She is incredibly sweet and friendly. Please make sure that your team members have this kind of attitude.
