I have some complicated issues with my eyes and was very impressed with Dr. Sam the optometrist at Walmart Vision Center in Stuart. She was very thorough with my exam, and even had my records pulled for earlier treatments by other eye specialists before giving me a new prescription. I highly recommend being seen by Dr Sam for your eye exam!

My regular eye doctor still takes my insurance for the exam but not for glasses. To find someone on my insurance, I drove 13 miles to PSL. Horrible experience. I cannot read at all with my progressive lenses and a lens fell out in less than 3 months. These people ignored me once they got my $808. I happened to be in Walmart and decided to see if they could fix the lens. They have, twice. The lenses should never have been put in these frames. Pam is the gold standard for this service. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I never even considered Walmart in getting glasses. I sure will from now on. That's what I get for being a snob. They would have been less than half the price. I have been extremely happy with their service.
Absolutely love! Always a great experience. The folks working here are patient and kind. Always spending as much time as I need, making sure the prescription is correct and make any adjustment necessary. Great selection of stylish frames that do not cost an arm and a leg.
My only complaint is the eye exam. It was not correct .I called to let the office know it wasn't a good prescription. I was told my cataracts were the issue. So I had to go to a new doctor for second opinion. The second opinion numbers on exam were totally different and totally correct .I can see perfect out of my new glasses.I donot have severe cataracts either. .I sent a letter to the owner/ doctor at Wal-Mart and a copy of my second opinion eye exam so they can see where they went wrong . I also had to pay for the second opinion. It's been a nightmare however I see great with my new prescription from the new doctor.
Picked my glasses up today. Left frames for new lenses. I had been asked before about lenses scratch protection. Had declined. Offered again today. Thought that was a little strange. Got home. Inspected glasses. Lenses are not even in the frame correctly. There is daylight between frame and lenses. Right lenses has a scratch from were they put the lenses in the frame. Last time I will come here. And yes I should have inspected them while I was there. I didn’t think I would have to. Todd Rishel
