My wife & and I were left standing for over 20 minutes, and Walmart vision allowed another couple to jump line. The manager was very disrespectful, showing neither respect nor empathy. I would be more understanding if not the fact that the manager sat with a co-worker ignoring the customers' waiting. When I need glasses,I will consider a company that places ppl before profit, or at minimum, shows respect. This used to be a good company, but now it will hire a warm body.

I was doing some Christmas shopping so I stopped by and inquired about ordering my glasses. I had my exam and prescription from my optometrist so I was just needing to order glasses. The lady I spoke with was very friendly and told me which days would be best for me to come in and order. She explained they took my insurance and that they would be glad to help. Fast forward to the afternoon I decided to go back and go ahead and order the same day. The nice lady from earlier had told me they didn’t close until 7 pm I got there about 430. They obviously had a shift change because the staff working wasn’t the same. The person who greeted me when I walked up seemed very annoyed to be having to help me. When I explained I needed to order frames she started slamming her things putting her gloves on aggressively and slammed the drawer after grabbing the thermometer to check my temp. I was thinking at this time wow what have I done to upset her. She had me sit down to give her my insurance information and she continued to tell me she couldn’t pull up my insurance. She had me looking at frames and with no customers in the office and her at least 20 feet away from me she yells at me to leave my mask on. How can you order glasses without being able to see them on your face? I kept my mask on and realized I couldn’t pick anything without being able to see what I was buying. Kiwi or whatever her name was said she still couldn’t pull up my insurance so I had to pull up my insurance information on my phone. Two more times with my policy number she hatefully said she couldn’t find it. So I ask her what would be a reason it wouldn’t be found? Then all of a sudden she found it. I go back to find some frames and I was pulling my mask down to look in the mirror. At this time both associates are at their desk and there is no customer besides myself in the office. The associates are both 20 ft from me at least and K ( unsure her name) yells at me saying I have to keep my mask on . How can you order glasses without seeing what they look like on your face? I know they knew I was upset because the other associate asked me if something was wrong. I explained how K had treated me since I walked in and asked when they changed staff so I could return. She wasn’t helpful either they just didn’t want to help me and disliked me from the moment I walked in. Discrimination at it finest.

To Primarily, Jennifer and Roxy employee/associates, in the Optical Department. I ordered glasses well over a couple of months ago, from a different Walmart associate. There was problems with the lens and frame, the frame could not be straightened. I still couldn't see well after wearing the glasses a week or so for normal eye adjustment. The lens were sent off for a remake due to the mistakes made by another associate with the measurements. "I was told later the measurements was off". I also changed the frame due to fit issues. I went back to pick up glasses again, and the lens were "still" off because of incorrect measurements, from the 2nd associate. I had very little "distance" vision. Went back to the Optical Department. Finally...Jennifer, 3rd associate, took the time needed to not only visibly measure, but used the machine/equipment needed to get a more accurate measurement. She was very compassionate to my issues. She did what in my opinion should have been done in the beginning. She is very pleasant, helpful, and most importantly, competent. Wal-Mart Optical management, I highly recommend you keep this associate and get more like her !!! Thank you Jennifer, for your caring and your efficiency !!! Roxy, the manager, was also helpful. Between Jennifer and her, I now have glasses that I can actually use...!!!

The Dr. was nice and professional, but the girls out front were terrible. The one who helped me order my glasses had no idea what she was doing. At one point she just got up and left. I got a call to come pick up my glasses. When I got there I was told they were not there. Then she ( the same one who ordered my glasses) checked and one of the 2 pair I ordered were there. But the girl had the sunglass lense put in the frames I picked for my regular glasses. She was very unprofessional about the whole thing. I will not order glasses fr there again. Had an eye exam and purchased glasses from here. Was told my glasses would be ready by February 2nd. Drove all the way from Wellington to gadsden on Feb 2nd to find out that they forgot to call me to tell me that my glasses were postponed to arrive on the 4th of Feb. So a wasted trip simply because you didnt feel I was important enough to call ahead of time and tell me not to come out until the 4th. Good job. I wish gas was free, but it ain't, and neither is my time. Next time I will choose another eye care center.
