Walmart Vision Center

Went for an eye appointment, Dr. Riley Austin is one of the best, very professional and extremely knowledgeable of my eye condition. The staff, each and everyone, very kind, smiling and professional, willing to go above and beyond to answer your questions and help you make decisions. I made an appointment, no wait, love the fact it’s in Walmart, finished my appointment and shopped.

Nobody will ever answer the phone. They were told not to take messages. So there's no way to get a hold of anyone to make an appointment and I have been a customer here and bought several glasses and contact exams over the years. Now I guess I will have to go look for a new eye center since they obviously have plenty of customers.

I was there three weeks ago and I was absolutely impressed with the professionalism of Dr. Austin and how he answered all of my questions and made me feel confident in my decision that I chose the BEST Optometrist EVER!!! The staff was amazing!! Shout out the Vision Center Manager, Rosie!! Talk about patience and kindness and really knowing how to make a person feel great about themselves when choosing eyewear!!! Give her a raise!!! (or at least send her on that trip for two to Hawaii) She is passionate about her job and it shows!! If you want the best Eyecare ANYWHERE, just drop by Walmart Vision Center and see Dr. Austin!! It’s the best decision I ever made!! Thanks again! Dina Villalobos

They redirect your call to other departments over and over. I was transferred back to the vision center by 4 different departments and every time, after 5 minutes, some other department picked up. No way to make appointment

I’ve used Dr. Austin for years, simply because I feel he does a better examination than all the other physicians I have used in Tuscaloosa. He is very through, professional, and personable. His staff has always been excellent also. I would recommend Walmart Vision Northport, Dr. Riley Austin, and his staff over any other eye care provider in West Alabama.
