Walmart Vision Center

I have been coming to Walmart vision center in Branford for 12 years. Jaya vision took over, provided t trouble customer service. They refused to let me speak with management and technician Alex hung up on my multiple times after leaving me a threatening voicemail. Will be in person to talk with management and report the misconduct from employees. Would never thave comment this place to anyone (Jaya Vision)

I worked with Natasha on my eye glass order today. She was helpful and knowledgeable. Plus great high end frames at lower cost. Thank you Natasha. Once my glasses are in I will review again.

The staff at the Walmart Vision Center in Branford, Ct. Is top notch !! They are all super friendly & inviting when you enter their area you are met with bright eyes and smiles, that speaks to me before I even hear a voice !!! I was met by Steve Gagnon who assisted me like a champ. My mom lives in a nursing home and couldn't leave, she can't walk I sat with Steve and provided all my mom's insurance and eye prescription. Steve and I immediately went 11 miles to visit my Mom. Steve made my mom very comfortable and went through his process and allowing my mom to pick from 5 frames, it made my mom super happy!!! Fast forward a week, the glasses came in, Steve called me and made himself available to go out once again, round-trip 22 miles to make sure everything was perfect from the fit to the prescription being correct!! Steve brought his service to the next level. He didn't have to go above and beyond the way he did !! He said " I love helping folks out that why I do it !" I offered Steve a generous tip several times which he denied each time !! I work in retail and you can go any and everywhere to get the same product, but the level of service you receive is different everywhere !! Steve went outside the box and brought next level service which unfortunately isn't common in retail !! Thank you Steve for situating my mom who is the most important thing and helping her feel comfortable and taken care of !!! You are truly a person who isn't there for pay check Friday but rather an individual who wants to provide an outstanding experience, make them feel cared for and to make sure they are healthy, happy and safe !!! I came into this vision center frustrated at my insurance for an issue that was difficult to solve. The store was very busy but I was greeted by Steven who referred me to another female optometrist (did not catch her name). This optometrist could not assist me and responded with unhelpful answers. She told me I would have to come back another time. She could not provide me with a time or different day. She responded each of my questions with a simple “I don’t know.” I had an issue with my insurance company that provided me with information and instructions but the woman seemed to not only be unknowledgeable but she was disinterested and uncaring. Steven saw this situation and assisted me right after taking care of another customer. He was kind, very knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to ask questions and answer my questions. He went above and beyond to enter my insurance information and called my insurance company. In the end, I was able to purchase my contacts. He saved me from another headache and possible trip back into the store. Thank you Steven for being amazing!

My son got glasses from Walmart Vision Center three months ago and they broke. We went to the vision center and got the pleasure of dealing with Erin (Licensed Optician in the Branford Ct Store). Erin was so pleasant and very knowledgeable and empathetic. She took care of us right away and got my son a brand new pair of glasses ordered and the process went so smoothly. I do believe that the reason it went so smoothly is due to Erin. We picked up his glasses today, 7 days later, and to our surprise Erin was there again and was still so efficient and pleasant to deal with. I give my thumbs up to the vision center and especially Erin. I work with the public in transportation and it always help to put on a smile and be friendly. Thank you Erin !!! We will definitely be going back in the future for our vision needs.
