Walmart Vision Center

The doctor didnt show up to work until 30 minutes after my appointment and there were 3 people still ahead of me. There was no apology, when I told them I had to reschedule because they were not going to be able to see me until over an hour past my appointment. Then I was told they couldn't get me in for another 6 weeks. That is unacceptable, when they are the ones who couldn't keep my appointment. If yout time is valuable to you, don't come here. And the lack of apology just tells me that they think their time is more valuable than mine.

I've been ordering glasses for my children here for a few years and was always fully satisfied with quality and service. It changed a few weeks ago. My daughter needed an eye exam. I made an appointment in January 2026. We had to wait for more than a month. We came in time. However, in an hour our turn hasn't come yet, and there still were a few people ahead of us. I had to meet someone so I couldn't wait any longer. While we were waiting, a lady came who was an hour late for her appointment. They rescheduled her for the following day. When I tried to reschedule, they said the nearest appointment they had was in 6 weeks! If I understood it correctly, that was because we signed in for our appointment. I think my daughter and I were treated very unfairly. They are friendly and professional, the prices are affordable, but now, perhaps, are a bit too overbooked. Just wanted the others to be aware that this can happen

I am a frequent customer at the Walmart in Milledgeville Ga..I had an appointment to get a new eye exam and new frames on Friday, June 12th.. I was acknowledged right away and received amazing customer service with the employees there.. I would like to recognize Destiny, the employee, who assisted me with ordering my new glasses and explaining the cost of everything.. She was very patient with me and my 83 year old father.. I will definitely recommend this particular Walmart and vision center to my family and friends!! Thank you Destiny! Amy Walters

I went here because a friend suggested it. The following is my response to the Walmart Survey Request. I am beyond satisfied. I am amazed. I first needed glasses in 2016. I have seen... well, been to 4 previous eye care specialist and was told by all 4 that contacts were not an option for me. The glasses I have received from all of my previous providers did help me to see. However, I couldn't see very well. I wrote it off to me not knowing enough about how the process worked to be able to communicate with the provider in a productive manner. I left seeing better, but until Krystal Kitchens convinced me to see Dr. Vinh. God bless both Krystal and Dr. Vinh. I have no idea why 4 Dr's before him couldn't fit me with contacts, but Dr Vinh got it done. My world is beautiful again. For the first time in too many years I can honestly SEE! My only regret is that I don't know all of the names who were so patient and helpful throughout all of the process. Krystal got me in the door and set it in motion then Dr Vinh CLARIFIED my life! I think Kathy helped me the next day with sunglasses. GO HERE! I see a lot of reviews here complaining about the length of the wait. Regrettably I am not in the best of health. I spend a whole lotta time waiting to see Dr's. This is my take on that. Being patient as a patient is a very difficult thing. But if you are seeing this type of physician don't you want one who is thorough? One who asks questions and more importantly ANSWERS questions? Takes the time to treat you, not only as a number or a resource to generate profits, but as a person. A human being who came to them lacking and all we want to do is get better. See better... This group does these things. So if you are one who doesn't care about having the optimal outcome... if you are more concerned with punctuality than as near a perfection of service and healing as I have ever experienced... then maybe this isn't for you. But if you want to know what is wrong with your vision and have the very best correction that your hard earned money can buy... then be patient. Be a patient patient. Because Dr Vinh, Krystal, Kathy... this whole practice is gonna be patient with you. If you're not satisfied with the product you receive for your investment of money and time... then don't go back! Go somewhere else where they'll rush you in and spit you out with blurry glasses or a shoddy fit. But they'll probably be on time. Imma say it one last time... Go Here, cause They Care!

I visited this location on 8/31/23 for an eye exam for my son to get an updated prescription for his glasses and to try contacts for the first time. I have had the pleasure of dealing with several ladies up there and they have all been awesome! My son is currently struggling with learning to put the contacts in, and they have gone above and beyond to help him get over his fear of putting something in his eye. They have been very patient and encouraging, despite his frustrations with himself. We went by again on 9/1/23 to try again and the staff was just as great! He still hasn’t succeeded with it, but they are so sweet and trying to help him in any way possible. They are also very knowledgeable on helping you get the benefit from your insurance! On an additional side note, his current glasses are broken and I had to superglue the together. That has not been ideal due to them being his only way to see and the superglue hasn’t been holding up for long. So Ms Kathy found him a pair of $9 frames on their shelf and was able to put his current lenses in them to get him by until he gets his new glasses! This staff has been exceptional and I could not ask for a better service than what they provided! Would highly recommend!
