My first encounter at this site was admittedly rough: immediately after an encouraging appointment with the friendly and honest optometrist, the available optician was aggressive and impatient. I felt rushed and humiliated in a very busy, hectic part of the business day and left in tears. I left a review and the manager called the next day. She invited me to collect my glasses from her directly when they were ready. I came in a few days later and she was genuinely warm and welcoming, adjusting my new frames and assuring me that aloha is the standard at Walmart Vision. This is the first time I have experienced proper and professional resolution after a negative customer service interaction. I’m impressed by the response and feel (emotionally) safe to return for future needs and concerns. Perhaps the original optician was having an off day, as I’ve seen them mentioned by name in other positive reviews. They have a great selection of frames. The vision center itself is very close to the exit so know upfront that there’s a lot of proximity to customer traffic which can be uncomfortable. Check online first to see when Walmart is busiest if you’d like to avoid crowds and excessive noise. Mahalo!
