We are visiting Harvard and had a dilemma. The associate at the vision center was so polite, understanding, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Even though he could not provide the things we needed, he got us going in the right direction to get us what we needed. A big thank you to him!

Harvard, IL Vision center - Worst eyecare experience of my life. The so-called manager was extremely unprofessional, loud, rude and condescending. When I asked her not to talk to me in such a rude manner, she said I was being rude. Since when, is asking someone to treat you with a little dignity and respect, being rude? They made eyeglasses which I could barely see out of, and then refused to work with me to sort them out. She took back the glasses they made for me, and said she gave me a refund. Then, told me it would take up to to 3 months for my insurance to be reimbursed. At 72 years old, my eyesight is failing me. At my age, I should not have to endure this type of unprofessionalism, to be able to get a decent pair of eye glasses. I was so upset, that by the time I made it home, I was completely exhausted. If you are looking for a professional eyecare center, then give this vision center a miss. The following, is the result of my query concerning the manager's bahaviour toward me. Verbal abuse of an elderly person through raising your voice, condescending behavior, and extreme argumentation is a form of emotional and psychological abuse that can cause emotional distress, fear, and anguish. This type of abuse is characterized by intimidation, humiliation, and a power imbalance, and it can manifest as verbal assaults, threats, and ridicule. Recognizing these behaviors is the first step, which can then lead to taking action by setting boundaries where possible, or reporting the abuse to authorities like adult protective services. Is this the type of behavior that is acceptable for Walmart employees?!

I brought my daughter here about 2 months ago. It was a positive experience from making the appointment to the exam and purchasing her glasses. George was amazing! She loved the very first frames he picked for her. The glasses were even ready 3 days later which was 4 days earlier than expected. I am so sad they do not accept my insurance, otherwise I would go there. I just may pay out of pocket and go anyway.

Super rude and not helpful. I called to ask what my prescription is and was told it was expired but I could come in and pick it up, not a big deal. But then I thought to call back and ask them to email it to me since I can't get over there for a while and when I called back to explain myself I was cut off and then put on hold for 10 minutes :) over it
