Not happy. Questionable practices and knowledge. I called and asked for my old prescription details. I was required to give them for a new ophthalmology test. They said they could not give to me, it was against state law. They told me they could not give to me either because the computer system wouldn’t have the information. It's against the law to make new glasses to an old script; from what I understand, it’s also state law to provide the patient with the old script details when asked. Not hold it over their head for a potential $130 office visit. They magically produced my history with full script details when I pushed for my RIGHTS. 1. Your Medical Records (Eye or Medication History)It is illegal for a provider or pharmacy to refuse to give you your own medical or prescription records. You have a legal right to access your medical history under federal law (like HIPAA). Pharmacies are also required by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) to keep patient records and prescription histories for at least 2 to 5 years. You can request copies of these records at any time. 1. Can they refuse to give you copies of your past records? No, that is illegal. Your past prescription numbers, pupillary distance (PD) measurements, and test results are part of your formal medical history. By law, if you submit a written request for your medical chart, the doctor's office must provide it to you. They cannot withhold your past data just because you are moving to a different clinic or buying glasses online.

Wolfe Eye Care is INCREDIBLE. Every single person there is caring and loving. I’d gotten into a car accident and they were nothing but kind and loving. I recommend Wolfe eye care with all my heart.
My best visit was at wolf. Very thorough examination. The glasses I received were much better than the ones i had purchased from a different ophthalmologist the year before.they did a very good job. Too bad, they can only give you five stars
First time here and was nervous about the exam and everything but Dr. Wolf and his amazing staff were helpful, professional, and within a couple weeks got me setup with the specs needed to see the world clearer! Highly recommend this place.
First time here. Dr. Wolf and staff were super friendly. I had fun picking out some very cute frames. Great selection. Great vibe here.
