The Doctor and staff are professional and friendly and knowledgeable. I updated my glasses they have a great selection. I also appreciated the help in choosing my frames. It was all around an excellent experience. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have been coming here for the past 3 years. The doctor and staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. I personally have very bad eyesight and always require high prescription lenses (which even the smallest adjustment to the frame or lenses can give me issues). Recently, Dr. Sadofsky told me that my eyes have not changed from my last checkup but I was experiencing blurred vision from one side. Katrina helped analyze my prescriptions in depth and found that my right lens had more of a curvature than my current sunglasses that could be causing the issue. They were able to order me a new set of lenses free of charge since they were still under a year old and lo and behold it fixed the blurriness. Everyone who works here goes above and beyond and pays attention to the smallest details to help their customers. They also do a great job on adjusting your frames if they sit too tight or loose. Highly recommend if you are in the area to come here for your optical needs.

I'm super impressed by the great service I received from the time I walked in the door, until the time I left. I was taken care of immediately by the friendly girls at the front desk. I was brought back to see the doctor within minutes. The doctor was very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. His exam was very thorough. He explained everything in detail and and will my questions. I am incredibly indecisive, so picking out new frames can be difficult for me. I wish I got her name, but a young girl helped me tremendously. She was so patient and helped me go through all the racks of frames. Other girls in the office would also help by giving their opinions. I ended up getting the frames she picked out for me. She also helped maximize my insurance benefits. I had a great experience at McHenry Optical. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Doc was great! Very professional and detailed. Made me feel welcomed at my first visit. Staff was the same. Took time to answer all my questions. Helped me find a comfortable pair of glasses that were right up my alley. Thanks McHenry Optical!!

Best Eye Dr. And Staff. Went in for my exam along with my husband and our 2 year old son. The ladies at the front desk are truly amazing and also the most kind. Not only did we get in right away with no waiting but Doc is so informed and truly cares about his patients. He remembered us and details about us which made for a personable conversation and he was so sweet to our son. Doc explains everything shows you you pictures or your eyes and likes patients to know all the information. He loves what he does and it shows. Meanwhile, the front desk ladies are true angels, the played with our son while we tried on contacts. My husband also need some work done on his glasses and the ladies were so helpful and truly care about him having the best fit. Everyone is not only amazing, passionate and knowledgeable about what they do they have the best customer service that makes you feel like friends and family. Best experience anyone could ask for!
