Walmart Vision Center

I was very disappointed in the glasses I purchased from this location. The service I received when I got the glasses was very good and the representative professional and friendly, I took the glasses back because they were too loose and slipping. This time, the rep I saw was curt and rushed. She adjusted the glasses and gave them back. I told her they were still loose and she curtly replied that they were fine and that was all she could do. They continually slip down my nose. I should have gone back; however, I am in the process of getting new glasses at another Optician. It has been less than six months since I bought these glasses and they are so scratched I can barely see through them. I have never had a pair of glasses scratch at all, let alone scratch in this manner. Since your warranty is only 30 days, I didn’t bring them back, I would not want a replacement from Walmart anyway.

Doctor Henderson is amazing. I had an appt first & loved her so much. That both my kids go to her now & I brought my mother in today. She is thorough & takes her time. My mother has a fractured back & the visit was kind of difficult for her but the kindness & patience that doctor Henderson showed was so appreciated. May I add that she was able to get my vision to where it needed to be after no luck with my previous doctor & wasted money on contacts that I can't even wear. I'll continue to go to Ms Henderson.

I will start my review with that I’m fortunate to not be an actual customer of this location because I would definitely take my business elsewhere after today. I was in line behind one other customer when Chad directed them to follow him. I approached the desk assuming that he would say, “someone will be with you in a few minutes” or even give me a “good morning.” He instead did not look at me, cleaned off the desk, and walked away. I waited to be helped for a total of 20 minutes until someone else showed up for their shift. While continuing to wait in line for the woman who was trying to help me in another room, a second older blonde woman approached me while I was in line and said someone would be with me, I told her I was being helped already but I had a question if she could relay it to the woman who was already helping me. She proceeded to act frustrated with me and was very condescending with her follow-up question to mine. I’ve worked in retail for almost ten years so I can understand why you wouldn’t want to acknowledge a customer right away while you’re helping another because it normally begins a second task for you to complete at once. But a little politeness goes a long way during these troubling times with COVID-19. Especially when the customer is being polite to you. Overall, this was a bad experience for me and I would not recommend this location.

This morning my 7 year old daughter talked to me about worrying other kids thought she was weird because she wore glasses. She needed a new pair so we went in to check out what they had. The store manager was incredible. He helped my daughter go through pair after pair and listened to every concern she had as if she were his own. My daughter is so excited about her new glasses and it was a very very good experience for her. I am truely greatful!

The older female worker at this location was extremely rude, unkind, and unhelpful. What a horrible person. I'll never go to another Walmart Vision Center again. In fact she was so upsetting that I decided not to even shop at Walmart for the other things I intended to get today. There was no need for her bad attitude or condescension. She doesn't understand the Golden Rule, but I'm sure karma will teach her a thing or two.
