I have used this vision center many times over the years for eye check ups, trying on glasses, and buying contacts. Every time I have had great customer service! The staff is accommodating and pleasant, many even friendly, and in one instance the lady helping me noticed she had grabbed the wrong box of contacts, apologized and promptly corrected it. She even made me aware of what discount options I had and which one was the better deal (since you couldn't use both in one purchase). They do a very good job.
My bow broke on my only pair of glasses, I needed a solution, my thought was to replace the frames around the lenses I had. In looking at the frames they were different types than the one I had, I was asked if I had bought my glasses there I had not. Many people could interpret this as a reason for the person not to help, but the real reason for this question is to see if they can match your frame, it also tells them you might already be in their system. We couldn't find a similar frame which they wouldn't be able to switch out, though I am not sure what legal basis that is formed from, helping the customer and making a sale is a win-win. Anyway that is when, the Tiffany offered a solution of switching out the bow alone. I wasn't a fan as it would mean a color mismatch, but she found the frame that might work and swapped it out. It wasn't a perfect match, but it solved my problem, looks good, the bows are tight and the glasses fit again. Thank you Tiffany, great customer service.
The staff has some of the worst customer service skills I've ever encountered. They provided absolutely no help at all during my entire experience there, got my prescription wrong twice in a row and showed little to no care about it. Highly recommend going somewhere else for an eye exam.
If you want to buy glasses online you need to know your pupulary distance. They won't give that to you unless you buy glasses. Even if you pay $69 for an eye exam. I've had my eyes checked before at Walmart and it wasn't a problem. This one is petty. Update: when I where the glasses made with the prescription from the Walmart I get motion sick from just turning my head. I had to go to another eye doc in Rochester and found out the prescription was wrong. You don't even get what you pay for here.
