Was given too strong of a prescription. I told the Dr during the exam it was too strong. She changed the trial, which was better. However, she didn't record the change. So when I ordered my contacts, I received the stronger, incorrect prescription. I didn't realize it until after putting the 1st pair in that it was wrong. When I called about it, I was told I would need another exam and would need to pay for another box of contacts. This was The Dr's mistake, not mine but I will have to pay for it. The Dr is very sweet, but seems forgetful and absent minded. I will go elsewhere.

This is our 2nd our 3rd year seeing Dr. Howell. She is such a kind and compassionate woman. Myself and sons both saw her again yesterday and she had all three of us in and out in just a little over an hour without rushing us but listening to all of my concerns. We a grateful to have her in Marshfield!
Bought my glass less than 6 months ago and they are scratched up. I stopped in to see about getting them fixed as I paid extra for a warranty. I was the only customer, They lady I was dealing with took them to another girl ( she barely looked out of highschool ) that seemed more interested in her phone than dealing with this said the scratches "look to be" like they are just in the coating not the lens. I paid extra for the coating how is it not part of the lens. Absolute scam warranty. You've lost my families business and I'll make sure to tell EVERYONE I know not to do business with your center.
When I first made my appointment, I and the employee setting it settled on one date and time. Then she handed me a card with that written on it. Once I got home, I noticed that the date written on the card was one day after the date we had agreed upon. I called and got that cleared up. But then, one week before that date, I got a call confirming my appointment the next day after the call. A completely different day. I thought, whatever, and just went with it. When I arrived, the optometrist and everyone working were very friendly and helpful. After the exam, I ordered a pair of prescription glasses and, less than a week later, they had arrived and they were very much as I expected. So, all good there. However, FTC regulations state that any eye examiner must provide a copy of an individual's prescription to that individual immediately after the eye exam or at least after payment for the exam. This did not happen. The FTC regulation further states that an individual must not be forced to ask for the copy of the prescription. It should be provided automatically. This did not happen. Now, a little over a week after my exam, I have called and requested a copy of my prescription, and I'm now waiting to see if I receive a copy. The copy should be detailed and complete enough for me to be able to order another pair of prescription glasses from wherever I like--that is the purpose and spirit of the FTC regulation. I'm waiting to see if this will be the case.
This was the worst eye exam I've ever experienced. The optometrist's mind was elsewhere, chatting through the rushed exam. The glasses were made wrong. It was a long ordeal to get an attempt to fix the flawed glasses. No actual help happened. No more Walmart vision clinic for me. I now have several hundred dollars worth of unwearable glasses. Buyer beware.
