The lady who answers the phone and checks people in is horrible. Every time I've called she interrupts me and I never get to even finish my sentences. Also, she has become angry with me if I take up too much of her time but that is not why she interrupts me because she interrupts me from the time she picks up the phone. She has even scolded me each time I've called; for all different reasons but usually because she doesn't appreciate me doing something I'm doing (like listing off two different dates I have open to schedule and exam, instead of listing one). I like Dr. Shade, but my 3 children and I will be going somewhere else next year and after. The last straw was when I called early in the week to ask if my daughter's trial contact lens she tore could be replaced BEFORE her contact lens follow up later in the week. She wouldn't even let me finish my sentences (as always) and told me 'no, she will have to wait until her follow and tell the doctor.' She didn't even ask the doctor when I tried (but, she literally interrupted me so much I couldn't finish a sentence) to ask her to ask him. We get there for her follow up and first the doctor wants to do is have her put in a replacement trial lens. So, she took a while to get it in because she is a new contact patient. And, we ended up being there for a long time because he then had to squeeze her in in between other appointments because her appointment time was used for her to put the contacts in.
