I freakin hated the staff in the eye doctor office !!!! They embarrassed me and violated my privacy. In a room full of people the receptionist and everyone looked at me when I asked for an appointment and they said are you blind in one eye and basically questioned me. I felt like I was bullied all over again. Like why would you ask loudly about my problems isn’t it why I’m here to get insight. Not get made fun of and questioned if I need both eyes checked. I never had glasses before and knew nothing about them and they was no help at all. The people that waited on me wore glasses as well and never told me what I was getting as far as bifocal or not, and I never knew I was getting bifocals until after I picked out my frame and then she “the employee” never told me that the frame I got wasn’t a good idea for bifocals. I would never ever recommend someone to go there. They needs new employees that has concerns and want to help others. They are not concerned any what so ever. I’ve also heard other folks talked about how they was no help to them as well. I paid a lot of money out of pocket for these glasses and was very, very disappointed 😔😢😭
I’ve been going to this doctor for about 7 years and it’s consistently been a terrible experience. The optometrist is always in a rush and never seems to care about the health of my eyes. I’ve never seen a photo of my eye like I have at other places. I’ve never been dilated here either. A few years back, one of my eyes were in excruciating pain and I told her and nothing was done. She completed my eye exam and just said that the same eye got worse. Nothing else. I’ve shadowed many different optometrists as it is my career interest, and she is never enthusiastic about explaining or being a bridge. The only reason I still come to the Walmart center is because it is more affordable than some of the private optometrists in the area.
I have been to many eye doctors and she is the 2nd eye doctor that has had patience and spent the time needed for my appointment. She didnt rush or try to move quickly to get to whoever was next. I appreciate the docs help and all the staff was very pleasant. I will continue to use their office as my permanent eye Dr. Thanks!
Dr Windley and all the staff are wonderful! Dr Windley took her time with me, and her staff were all pleasant and helpful. The vision center next door was also great; patient and helpful! I'm so glad I went there, it was my first time but it won't be my last!
