I scheduled a full eye exam here, but I was never seen by an optometrist. Two techs performed the entire exam, including the “1 or 2” refraction, and no doctor ever came in to examine my eyes or review the results. > > I was given a prescription even though no licensed doctor evaluated me or signed off on the exam. This is concerning because a full exam legally requires a doctor to be present and to examine eye health. > > I want others to be aware so they can make an informed decision.

Wow! Great service. I've purchased several pairs of glasses from this chain. Unfortunately, I ran into a tree limb while mowing the front yard and damaged the frame of my regular glasses. I took the damaged glasses to the Murphy, NC store and asked them for a replacement frame. The store manager asked to see the glasses. She said, "I can fix these." I honestly thought they were beyond repair. Five minutes later they were as good as new! No charge! Great service!

when to get a estimate on my glasses, and the old ladie told me she wont give me a quote ,, unless i purchase the glasses, she say the is a new policy, very disappointed, i when to another place they give me a quote and i purchase my glasses! hope she learn the sales process !

This location does not have a doctor yet. However, I was able to see Dr. Parker in Ellijay, GA (Walmart) and get my glasses here in Murphy. Store Manager Brittney was awesome in assisting picking out a frame and lenses that fit me best. They have a great selection of frames! I picked up my glasses today and they are by far the best set of glasses I’ve owned! Licensed Optician Patti was amazing at fitting the frame for me and making sure I was happy with the Rx and feel of the glasses. No matter who you go to at this location you are guaranteed great service and knowledgeable expertise. Brittney, Patti, and Aidan are awesome! I highly recommend this location for your optical needs!

I got an eye exam elsewhere and they wanted almost $600 for glasses. I had some friends recommend Walmart in Murphy because they could get me glasses at a better price and they’ve been going there for years. As soon as I walked in they smiled and greeted me. They explained everything to me and broke down my prescription so I understood what the dr wrote. I left there with my glasses for everyday and I got a pair of polarized sunglasses. I like to fish and they explained to me polarization helps reflection on water, this will be my first pair and I can’t wait to try them out. For both pair of nice glasses with warranties I came out cheaper than the dr office. I highly recommend them for your glasses. If you have any questions they are very knowledgable! A+
