Walmart Vision Center

The staff were nice and the eye was very, very quick. However, I have Medicaid and they insurance doesn’t cover everything because of the way they charge for it they charge for only lens and glasses they say but the prescription of the lenses are not covered by your insurance and They don’t cover The non-glare and with the way that they charge for things Medicaid only allows 100 for both lenses and glasses. I’ve been to other eye doctors before and I’ve had no other problem where my insurance covered everything and it was just 100 for the glasses as long as I stayed under that I got a pretty nice pair of glasses . Other eye doctors that take Medicaid they won’t charge you for the lens because it’s considered a prescription The way that they charge And the insurance covers it all of that not to mention the only thing you gotta pay for that you have a limit for would be your actual glass frames. Due to the way that Walmart is doing this where they charge them separately and not as a prescription and that you’d have to pay for your prescription. I also like how the staff were extremely nice .That’s the reason why I’m giving them a 2/5 Star review.

This place it the only place that will charge you for both lenses to have the poly lens. I have ordered from other places and have only be charged once. They are ripping people off. As you can see I was charged 2 times for the poly lens. This is not right. I only ordered 1 pair of glasses.

The people here were not terrible to me, though quite rude to an older woman who was there, but good luck if you have any questions about your bill. The office itself told me that they can’t talk at all about questions about my bill and they gave me a phone number to call. Weird but whatever. But then that phone number had me on hold for 45 minutes, just to talk to a person who took my information and told me that she also couldn’t do a thing with billing, and that all this information she took from me would be used when the actual billing representative would call me in an undetermined time in the future. I did not receive a callback until literally a day and a half later while I was at work. To summarize, the clinic itself was not amazing but tolerable, but if you have any issues with billing, be prepared for the brand to make it as painful as possible to make sure you were charged correctly. This will be the last time I get a vision test at Walmart. And I don’t recommend anyone getting one at Walmart unless there is literally zero other option.

Tina, Liz, and Roxy are absolutely the best! We absolutely recommend them! Never any pressure and they know their jobs extremely well they worked diligently and extremely hard for weeks to help us get what we needed! We had a very complicated situation, and they worked so hard for us! And absolutely no attitude at all whatsoever! Always a smile! Absolutely recommend these women!

I can’t say enough how wonderful my experience was. Not only was the vision center clean, the staff were all very professional and VERY friendly. There was no wait time and the Dr. finished my exam in a timely matter but made sure that all of my questions were answered. It was nice not feeling rushed out. All of the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Roxie was very patient while I picked out my frames and gave me wonderful feedback. I also received my glasses in less than a week. Very happy with my experience! A++++++
