Stopped by local Walmart to see what Wellness Day was all about. There was a carnival wheel to spin for prizes. Also giveaway items. The woman running the table was delightful and informative. A treat for kids to. Dinosaur costume was a great idea. Also a fantastic new way to see what your new glass may look like on you. Will be marking my calander for next Wellness Day Top-notch event, well planned. A+

The eye doctor is very nice, he was great with both my daughter and myself during our exams. It’s a shame that he has to be associated with the Wal-Mart Optical staff because they could all use some customer service training. ATTN: LEWISTOWN VISION CENTER EMPLOYEES Everyone has had to deal with COVID related changes and restrictions for quite some time now and we’ve also dealt with knuckleheads that refuse to follow the rules. It’s frustrating, I get it. But being in retail is called the hospitality industry for a reason. If you can’t shake off the negativity of the last customer and give the next one a kind word and big smile then you are in the wrong profession!! Hey, I just came to try on some frames. I had my mask on, but yeah, when I put a pair on I did quickly pull it down for a split second or else how was I going to know what I looked like?!? Immediately, I was scolded not by one but two girls half my age that I needed to keep my mask on and if I didn’t I had to leave. Needless to say, I got quite upset. That is not how to speak to a customer. The manager explained how people haven’t been following the rules and they are just so worried they’ll be shut down. Keep treating your customers like they don’t matter, eventually they will all go somewhere else and you’ll be shut down anyway. SPREAD KINDNESS
The staff here is incredible! They all have positive attitudes and are understanding. My whole family has got glasses there with no problem.
Not everyone can afford to see a Dr every year. Ran out of contacts, thought maybe you could get an emergency box till you can afford to go. Not with them. I'll try some place more understanding.
Glasses are getting more expensive each year. My husband gets his work glasses and exam here. His work glasses are good quality and reasonably priced.
