To start I have never posted anything on the internet, no reviews good our bad ever.(how bad i felt) I do use this Walmart and Bluffton, HHi for yearly check ups and order my contacts and glasses for years. I was driving and had a contact move off pupil and get lost in my eye(if wear contacts not unusual)making my vision severely impaired seeing 2 different lines of sight.(Im a -4.0, terrible).I could not see it myself and stopped by vision center to see if the sales associate that sell contacts would be so kind to take 30 seconds to see if they saw it loose in eye. Im 48 and been wearing contacts 40 years. I cant imagine going to my optometrist and the ladies that fill prescription for contacts and glasses at offices before Walmart telling me no, they would be fired(Im your customer) She reponded Im not a Dr. I cant , help you. Lady you sell vision equipment and your not a Dr. Any excuse to do nothing. You would have thought I asked her to change my oil, You are in the vision business lady and although that exact task might not be in job description its called professionalism. Do not know her name at 930 on Sat.12/27 but she was the rudest person I have ever encountered, how dare I. I asked the closet stranger and they helped. For your job to be in vision, helping people pick out glasses and order contacts, and act like I asked for help finding a flat screen TV. Its called human decency, my safety and others cause I couldn't miss work and drove. I am not articulating the degree of astonishment at the rudness, lack of professionalism and overall customer service being terrible. Customer service would have been much better if they were closed. If I had gone to mechanic area and asked they would have probably said sure, I needed help! She might as well spit in my face.

Very impressed with our experience, we are on vacation in Hilton Head. My son left his glasses home, after many phone calls back and forth trying to figure out how to get a pair of glasses made they were able to get him an appointment with the doctor and glasses made same day. We drove an hour each way and they had us in and out in an a little over an hour. Short staffed and working longer shifts everyone was very pleasant to work with. So greatful my son will be able to see and enjoy our trip because of the vision care team. Thank you so much.

The eye doctor was very nice, and gave good tips for eye care and very personable. My only complaint is at the moment you can get a contact prescription but not order contacts there, but still very sweet people. You can order contacts at the lady's island Walmart but not get a prescription, so a little running around on the customers part. Doctor care was excellent though.

I saw Dr.Tran for my visit and he told me I showed signs of early onset glaucoma and to go to a specialist when I could. Well hundreds of dollars later turns out no glaucoma, my eyes are totally fine and they optometrist I went to said Dr.Tran is known in town for “seeing things that aren’t there” and “unnecessarily scaring people”. I would stay very far away.

Don't let these bad reviews fool you. Dr.Tran is the most thourough eye-doctor I have ever had. He looks for things that are not just fitting you for lenses/glasses but any other medical issues as well. I've had a perfect fit the first time every visit.
