Do yourself a favor and go to Eyemart Express in rock hill instead. We came to this eye dr and bought our glasses from this Walmart eye care for the last 4 years. While the eye dr is ok, the eye glasses part is a bit of a rip off. They try to upsell you on a lot of features and even if you get the features, they don’t warranty the product very much. Also, eyemart express will make your glasses the same day!

Last year while in Walmart my eye glasses needed tightening and adjustment. Cheerfully David Lowery, Optician took them in the back of the shop and five minutes later appeared with my glasses feeling brand new. I asked how much and he said no charge, happy I could help you. Last week realizing I needed a new sunglass. I remembered David and made sure to go to him to buy them. Again excellent , but most importantly I went there because of his previous kindness. What goes around comes around. Thank you David.

Awesome customer service! Seriously! Got two pair of glasses here because it was covered by my vision insurance. Everyone here was nice and helpful. Would come here again, if needed.

I used the Walmart Vision Center and the attached ,but seperate, optomitirist next door Eyecare Plus LLC for my most recent eye exam and eyeglass purchase. I will say that at first my experience was not the best. The experience went well until I asked about my pupillary distance number not being included on my prescription once my eye exam was complete. I was told that the pupillary distance, or PD, was not the optomitirist responsibility and that if I chose to buy glasses from the Walmart Vision Center that the optician there would measure my PD. When asked why I was told that it was a liability issue. The optician assistant did call his manager and confirm. If you plant to purchase prescription eyewear online or through another buisness you will need the PD to order eyewear. I've never had this issue at other optomitirist/optician offices and I was only informed of this after my insurance was used for my annual eye exam. At this point, I had become frustrated with the lack of transparency and the sub-par service I had received up until this point, from both the optomitrist office and the optician I first spoke with. This is where David, one of the licensed opticians with Walmart Vision Center, stepped in and saved my experience and this review from being negative. David helped me pick out a pair of frames that fit my face well and he was kind and patient while doing so. It was obvious he had a great knowledge of eyeglasses and eyecare and was a true professional in the eyecare industry. With his help I picked out a set of frames that were perfect for me. I never felt rushed and he gave honest feedback during the process. If I were reviewing just David this would be a five star review. Once I selected my frames we went through the process of ordering my lenses. This is where I felt we hit another snag. At this point my pupillary distance was measured, but I was informed that the number could not be shared with me. I will admit as a longtime prescription eyeglass wearer this really frustrated me. I did choose to go ahead with my order, only because I really liked the frames I selected and once again David's exemplary customer service skills. I used my insurance to purchase my eyeglasses and intended to buy a pair of prescription sunglasses online, as selections are greater and prices are generally lower. The Walmart Vision Center selection of perscription sunglasses was limited and the only pairs I liked had concave frames and lenses that are NOT compatible with my prescription because of a high astigmatism in one eye. I could not purchase a pair of eyeglasses if I had chose to. I wad able to locate an older prescription with my PD included, but I feel that I should not have to do so, as I did just receive an eye exam and had my PD measured while purchasing glasses. I will go out on a limb and also suggest that the choice to withhold the PD is not at all a liability issue and more so a way to combat the loss of revenue due to the recent uptick of online prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses sales. I will likely choose a seperate optometrist that includes PD with the prescription for my annual eye exam in the future, but may return to Walmart Vision Center to purchase glasses due to their decent selection in larger frames and the exceptional customer service I eventually received from David.

I’m 8 and my mama let met do a review. Miss Lori helped make my glasses fit perfect where they don’t come off. I can see everything better. She gave a box to put them in and stuff to clean with. I even got to hug her. Soren
