I rarely leave negative reviews, but after multiple visits, I can no longer recommend this practice. During my daughters intake, I explained her pronouns, just as I have at every other medical office we have visited. This was the first healthcare practice where we experienced repeated issues despite that conversation. My daughter was seen here for a contact lens fitting. During multiple appointments, staff repeatedly referred to her with incorrect pronouns, even after I referred to her as my daughter or she/her. Whether intentional or not, it left both of us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome during what should have been a routine healthcare visit. During our most recent appointment, I was also yelled at in front of other customers by a Walmart Vision employee after another staff member had already come to escort me to the exam area. It was an embarrassing and unnecessarily confrontational interaction. After the appointment, both my daughter and I discussed how uncomfortable the experience had been, and we mutually decided that we would not be returning to this practice. I later received a phone call regarding the incident, but while Walmart apologized on behalf of the store and the doctor, the employee involved did not acknowledge her own conduct, and the conversation did not restore our confidence in continuing care there. I’m sharing this review so other families, particularly LGBTQ+ families can make an informed decision about whether this practice is the right fit for them. Every patient deserves to feel respected and comfortable while receiving healthcare. I'd also like note that we paid for services that we will not receive and the office is not willing to refund.

Dr. Helena S. Chun was beyond excellent. She’s quick and helped me get the best care I have had. I was going to Costco but was not getting good service and came here and will be from now on. Thank you Doctor. All the staff was excellent and kind. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Excellent staff!

I had my eyes examined here and updated my eyeglass prescription. Unfortunately, the new prescription made my vision worse. I’ve been experiencing watery eyes and headaches ever since. The doctor was on rush, wasn’t friendly, and didn’t seem to care enough (compared to my visits to other eye clinic). I feel like I wasted both my time and money going here.

Dashawn was kind, caring, forthright, patient and very knowledgeable. She took her time with me, she was thorough and beyond helpful. Her lovely assistant Rita was great, so sweet. Great team that was professional and very cost-effective friendly advice and input. Best of the best!
