I went in there for an eye exam today and to get glasses made and these people do not know what the hell they're doing. The girl that's only been there four or five weeks tried to tell me that I need to get nine pictures of each eye for my retina because my insurance requires it after the third time I felt like I was blind and I said I'm not getting 18 flashes in my eye It's giving me a headache so I said I'll call my insurance and I called my insurance which I know they don't require this and they told them We don't require that So then they proceeded to say Oh well Walmart requires it and I'm like what for I don't want it so you can bill my insurance for something I don't need. They proceeded to tell me it was their policy So I said okay let's see about this and she said to me Oh I lost the first five images I took so we're going to have to start over and I walked out. I understand there's no optometrist there but the people that are there that were trained and they're only there for 4 weeks trust me go somewhere else.

Walmart Vision is the best thing about Walmart, period! The technicians are so helpful, & friendly, plus the prices are actually affordable. I wish every department throughout the whole store would follow their lead! Keep up the awesome service Walmart VISION! Hopefully one day soon you'll be able to offer eye exams too at this location. I highly recommend!

My experience occurred at the Vision Center. I have not been there in a couple years, first the doctor who I was appointed was not friendly. She did not seem to take time or want to take time generally to help any customer. The timely matter of the appointment, and the other customers who were waiting just to talk to someone was at least 40 minutes. I was also not advised of best options in regards to the insurance I have. I would like to see more transparent pricing since I only visit this Vision Center once a year and feel I do not need to keep up on the best options to use my insurance for expense it is intended for. Due to this experience, I will not be going back to this Vision Center again nor recommending the Vision Center in Oshkosh. However due to the experiences prior to, I would look into a different store for your Vision Center.

Not a good experience. Too many wasted trips to have every excuse in the world to not order the glasses. Staff appeared to have little experience and knowledge of something as important as vision. Much more interested in up selling. Clearly working on commission of sales.
