The doctor is thorough and professional but still does a great job of making you comfortable. The receptionist is extremely helpful and great to work with. They are both fantastic with my special needs children.

The negative reviews are absolutely ridiculous. You will not find a better vision center in the United States. Lexi (Walmart Vision Center Associate) was phenomenal; she was nice, knowledgeable, and ensured that all my needs were met.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! (I’m going to leave both my and my wife’s experience.) Dr. McLaughlin is nice enough, however, he refuses to listen to his clients. We both had appointments in early Dec. 2024. The exams were fine. Now here’s where the issues lie. My prescription changed and more than three times I’ve received the WRONG contact strength. He changed the brand and type of contacts. He REFUSES to allow me to keep the same brand and type of contacts. (I’ve worn the same brand and type for more than 20 years with no issues) He refuses to give me the CORRECT contacts, stating the ones he’s given “should work.” “Should work” isn’t working, the strength is too weak. The trial contracts he has given me is -2.00 D weaker than what I need. He refuses to give me my prescription to take elsewhere. I had intended to purchase a pair of glasses, however the $9.00 frames were changed to $64.00 frames, totaling over $300. I still don’t have contacts that are the correct strength and he wants me to continue coming back until we get the correct fit that HE is happy with, never mind what actually works for ME. My wife has had the same brand and type of contacts for several years, he changed them as well. Telling her the ones she has been wearing were “no longer produced”. (Funny thing they can be ordered from other places) She told him they wouldn’t stay focused, no matter what she tried- even manually turning them to focus them, but they don’t stay fixed. But HE is happy with the way they fit, never mind the fact they’re not staying in one position, they fall out, constantly turn and stay out of focus. He refuses to change them. If you prefer to SEE and wear contacts that actually fit and work, go elsewhere. “Should work” and contacts that please HIM is his goal.
The Dr and exam were great no problem. Getting glasses is another story. Picked out frames was told my plan would cover 100 percent of the lenses. Paid the bill 0 balance. Months later sent a bill for $75. Called the 800 number they say that all they can do is take my payment. Called the store and they say all they can do is take a payment. All I wanted was what my insurance would cover and was told they would. Find a place that has a trained staff to purchase your glasses.
Such a great experience from the exam through picking out glasses. This crew made for the best vision experience I’ve had!
