Years ago it was fine. Today, not at all. I have good insurance and pay a pretty price monthly for my benefits. My annual exam should have been $4 but I was charged the full amount despite giving them the card. After answering 'no' to getting new contact boxes same-day, I was pushed two more times to do so, as well as pushed to buy new classes. My prescription was unchanged, if I wanted/needed new glasses or bulk contacts, I would have said so. I also felt I was spoken to like an idiot, or at the least a child, and I do not appreciate that in the slightest. I will never use a walmart pharmacy again nor it's affiliates. I will not recommend them either, no matter how cheap to the average person. The only positive part of my visit was the walmart staff (not the doctor who is from Jeremy Elmore & Associates) who are very pleasant any time I stop by. That doesn't mean don't give them a try, it doesn't hurt to shop around, but don't be surprised if you're unhappy with the visit.

My experience here was exceptional. I was acknowledged immediately upon arrival, filled out the usual paperwork, and was then seen promptly by a very attentive Optometrist (Dr. Anna Slemp) who answered all my questions, asked me quite a few herself, and made me feel very comfortable. It was a thorough exam that gave me confidence that I was going to get an accurate prescription. I only came for an exam and contact lens fitting, but walked out with a pair of sample contact lenses and plenty of sample supplies to take care of them. If you have kids that might be nervous about the entire process of an eye exam, utilize this charming woman. This one appears to care about her patients and clearly goes out of her way to help them feel at ease without any sense of a "mass production rush" that I thought I might encounter from a Walmart associated department. I dealt with two ladies out on the floor who were polite and helpful. I did not get their names. They had the insurance taken care of before I arrived and were ready to get me on my way in a timely manner. Overall, I was satisfied and was treated as a patient and a customer. I recommend this particular center and this doctor. :)
Absolutely fantastic service, Kayla was incredibly helpful and very kind! They were fast & explained everything step by step. I couldn't be happier! Been a long time since I've gotten my vision checked & I am truly glad I decided to go here!
