I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Vision Center inside Walmart. From the moment I arrived, the staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The doctor never introduced themselves or even said hello, which immediately made the appointment feel uncomfortable and impersonal. What concerned me the most was the cleanliness of the office and equipment. The machines were visibly dirty with grime and fingerprints, and I did not see them being wiped down or sanitized between patients. In a medical setting, that is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, when their payment machine was down, they attempted to write down my credit card information by hand, which made me very uncomfortable. During the exam, my mother misspoke about an eye disease she had, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the doctor made me feel incompetent and embarrassed. It was honestly one of the most uncomfortable healthcare interactions I’ve had. I have been to places like LensCrafters, Visionworks, and privately owned eye practices in Keene, and this was by far the worst eye exam experience I have ever encountered. I would not recommend this location.
