Forrest genuinely cares for his customers. Everyone that comes through his door is a friend. You don't get the personal service he gives at the mall or chain stores. I have never had any problems with my family's glasses in 20+ years.

Forrest should give lessons on customer service! He has been my family's go to guy for over 30 years. He has MacGyvered many, many frames over the years so we wouldn't have to buy new ones. I won't go anywhere else till Forrest retires.

Forest has been taking care of my glasses needs for the over 15 years, and I would never go anywhere else. He takes great care and pride in his work. When it comes to bifocals and trifocals (not to mention, the unlined versions), accuracy is absolutely essential. Forest makes sure the measurements are perfect. He also has one of the best selection of frames anywhere in the city. If you have a small face and need children's frames (like me) - no one in the Metroplex has a better selection. In a world where quality and customer service are becoming a thing of the past, it's nice to know that there are still some people out there who really care.

I live in Erie, PA and my wife's folks have gone to Forest for years. I went in there with a frame issue from glasses I got in Pennsylvania. He took the time to fix them and chatted with me about airplanes, Oshkosh, politics, trucks and politics. He fixed the frames and wouldn't take anything for it. (It was around Christmas.) I came back this year with my daughter and gave him a gift card. I didn't tell him I was coming. I just dropped in and he took the time to chat with me again. This fella is top shelf. You may not see "eye to eye" LOL with him on everything but rest assure this is your guy for glasses!! :)

Forest Calhoun is by far the best optician in the metroplex. I have been a patron of his business and expertise for over 17 years. He makes my glasses right the first time and always tells me "I'll be gentle" when it comes to pricing and he is!
