West Penn Advanced Vision Care

I've been going here for about a dozen years, and I've been highly satisfied. My whole family goes there at this point (this is the only place my kids have gone to). My kids started glasses at a young age, and with all of the times that they needed their glasses repaired after bending them and so on, they always welcomed the free fixes with open arms. I love this place, and I look forward to my next set of glasses coming in next week!

Doctor is entitled, gave short answers or ignored questions altogether. I think she just has an attitude problem. She also insulted and tried to belittle me after trying on my contacts (laughed condescendingly that I wasn't aware of her contact fitting procedures). Not passionate about her work, wasn't aware of basic advances in eye treatments 5+ years ago. I considered walking out of the appointment, but enjoyed the support staff. Her technology is stuck in the 1990s. Prices are up to $150 more than competitors (see prices on their men's titanium frame product line). Just all around the most bizarre experience I've had living in Erie, let alone as a 'valued' customer.

Friendly, professional staff but their prescription glasses just haven't worked out for me the last two separate times going there. My vision with the new glasses was blurry and out of focus. My 5 buck cheater glasses from the drugstore work better! Not recommended.

Had my first appointment with West Penn Optical today and I was more than happy with my experience! Everyone was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I hardly had to wait and I didn’t feel rushed what-so-ever. I was offered many different samples and options for my contacts which was very helpful. The Dr. was fantastic - I will definitely be returning for future appointments!

Big Shout out to the West Penn Optical Team!!!! The Doctor is extremely thorough with the examination, and the support staff is there to provide the excellent customer service. Gracias Mary for the walk-in eye glass adjustment! These new lenses feel so comfy!
