Fortunately while navigating my mother's insurance in network provider portal, we found Westheimer Vision Associates. My mother had a wonderful experience with Dr. Mallory Thornton to check on her eye health, she suggested some eyedrops that helped greatly as well. Since my mom had a great time, I also inquired with Ruby and Melissa on if I could be a patient as well and if my VSP Vision insurance was accepted there and they confirmed as such. I was able to schedule a same day appointment on Good Friday and was assigned Dr. Heidi Barin, and she was totally awesome and very kind and helpful to me. I was happy to hear my eyes are still healthy and I opted to purchase some glasses there among their vast selection of frames, and I'm looking forward to them. Everyone was very nice there, so I definitely recommend them to anyone reading this review.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rachel Lootens, O.D. at Westheimer Vision Associates, located at 10260 Westheimer Rd., Suite 580. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and professional, which made the whole visit very comfortable. Dr. Rachel Lootens is truly kind and humble. She took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt at ease throughout the appointment. It's rare to meet a doctor who combines such professionalism with genuine compassion. I felt very well cared for during my visit, and I feel blessed to have received her help. I've been going here since I was in middle school (I'm almost 30) and every visit is so pleasant! This is truly the only doctor appointment that I don't mind going to. Everyone is so sweet and personable from the front desk staff to the doctors. I love Dr. Barin and her nurturing, open, and fun approach. She is so insightful about eye health. I even made my boyfriend an appointment here for next week, despite never having vision issues. They take scans of the back of your eye & you never know what may come up! They value preventative care and take their time here. Anyway, I totally recommend and wouldn't go anywhere else in Houston for great eye care!

Thanks to a dear friend who recommended Dr Heidi Barin. She is by far the best doctor. She is very patient, smiles and converses easily showing she cares deeply. I recently had my annual checkup and felt happy to be greeted by all the staff and especially new Tech Lilia who updated my records and explained each step of the way. Thanks Dr. Barin and staff!
