I’ve been getting my exams from Eyecare Specialties ( Dr. Jason Lake ) for over ten years now and consider myself truly blessed to have received outstanding care from him and his staff. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable team. Hands down the best in the business. I Highly Recommend for your eye exams, contacts and eye glass needs. 10 out of 10 ( IMHO ).

I wanted to give a heads up to other families who are on TriCare Prime because everything I've read on our policy states that an annual eye exam is covered and there's no copay. We have TriCare Prime and I checked with the office on base, the TriCare website and I made sure the office took TriCare. All of the information that we found stated that we are entitled to an annual appointment that is totally covered. The office took images that weren't covered by insurance and they didn't give us an option to decline the images. I feel that if something isn't covered by insurance the office should make you aware of that and give you the chance to decline the service. The doctor and techs we saw were wonderful.

I have been coming here for many years and the staff is always great with me. I just went there today - the staff were friendly and quick. The doctor was great and explained everything well. Jordan was also great as she made the process of getting my glasses and contacts easy.

I had to call and reschedule an appointment the day of because I had some plumbing issues at home. While dealing with the chaos I completely forgot about the appointment until my calendar alerted me. I called, the ladies not only helped me reschedule but gave a lot of empathy for my situation and reassured that everything was okay to reschedule later in the week. When I went to the appointment every single person had top notch customer service. They were so nice and made me feel super comfortable. Hardy and the person who helped me choose my glasses were super knowledgeable. When I went to check out the lady I talked to asked me how everything was going at home, letting me know that she was the person who talked to me when I rescheduled. It surprised me that she noticed and cared. It really meant a lot and made my really bad week a little better.

Dr. Hardy did a follow-up appointment on my cataract surgery the previous day. She was able to reassure me about the continued blurring of my vision and wrote a prescription for eyedrops to help address the problem. She furthermore booked another appointment for me five days in the future to again check on my progress. As usual, her exam was thorough, and she took time to answer all of my questions. I have great confidence in the way she continues to monitor my eye health. Never do I feel rushed through an appointment with her.
