God it just feels like this place wants to bill your insurance for whatever test they’ll can run. Have been in with my baby and they told us they would run some test and let us know. We were more than fine with that. Then they claim they need to run different test, and now on basically the third day, they’re telling us we have to wait for 3 other teams to give the a ok to leave. I asked to leave under AMA (against medical advice) and they Asian doctor threatened me by saying “the insurance company isn’t going to cover your visit if you leave under AMA” Never again.

Hi there, I recently had a hernia operation, and my surgery went extremely well, What more can you say about Dr James Harris, just a outstanding-person from start to finish, not mention his crew they were was just amazing'' at J.H. I have had several procedures over the year's, and also I am a lifetime member of J.H. medical systems, and traveling extended journeys to J.H. the Quality'' of medical care has been dipping over the years'' its really not business as usual'' my next Question is.. What am I doing here now?? happy-holidays.
My 49 yr old brother went there with a collapsed lung from COVID. We thought world renowned hospital but it grew worse his second lung collapsed leaving him on tubes and a iron lung.after he rolled over and his heart stopped he was out in a coma like state for 6 months on paralytic drugs. We were then called to make end of life decisions. We were told he was likely brain dead after this amount of time we asked that he be brought out and if he didn't wake we would discuss it. Two days later he was awake . A week later and change to the county hospital and his lungs were re inflated 6 months later he was walking and home. But this world renowned joke wanted to let my brother die. This was 3 years ago
The doctors were very nice there. When I went there for my regular Dr appointment I was having trouble with strength in legs and arms. I was diagnosed with Myasthenia gravis. The doctors took care of me and made sure I was getting the right treatment after being admitte. Nursing staff is definitely short staffed. Called the nurse to get a bed pan and it would take 10-15 min for a nurse. I think they are a little disorganized. The cooking staff is understaffed. Having to wait 1hr for your meal after ordering it, is ridiculous. These things need to be corrected.
Terrible! Absolutely terrible. I came in at 11am-12pm and was never seen by a doctor. I was in there for 12 hours. It doesn’t make any sense. Then, I had to keep asking for pain medication that I never got. I asked for it for three hours. They never discussed anything with me. It’s ridiculous! And then they couldn’t even simply give me a stretcher to lay on. The stretchers that were completely unused. They also took patients in-front of me. I will never be coming back here. I don’t blame the nurses, I blame the people higher above
