Dr Stuart Machida and all the staff at Windward Vision Center in Kailua are caring, extremely knowledgeable and helpful about vision and insurance. I learned so much about my eyes and vision at my first appointment today. They answer the phone (April), and provide old-fashioned personal attention from the time you walk in (Janelle). They also provide expert help on lenses and frames. I highly recommend them!
I had a very pleasant eye exam experience with Dr. Machida today. He is very patient, thorough and knowledgeable. He took his time to explain everything to me. I like that they offer Optomap so that I did not have to dilate my eyes. And it shows me clearly a photo of my eyeballs. Dr. Machida was very professional and did not pressure me into buying any glasses or contacts. I liked that. Also, he kept his appointment on time and I did not have to wait. The receptionist was very nice too. I will go back again next year.
My Dr retired so my daughter who is a MD recommended I see Dr Stuart Machida at Windward Vision Center! The exams they do are with great equipment and the Dr did the further eye chart and focus testing. I have struggled for years with eye issues. Dr Machida explained in detail what he could see from the eye exam. I was able to understand clearly what needed to be addressed! Ordered my glasses and looking forward to seeing clearly again! It’s always good to see Dr. Machida for my check up on my eyes. He’s easy to talk to if you have any questions about what’s going on with your eyes. And if he sees anything he will explain what it is and what we should do about it and keep an eye on it with further appointments.
I woke with sudden vision impairment in one eye and Dr Machida got me in to his office within an hour of my call to be evaluated. I can’t praise him enough and recommend Windward Vision in Kailua.
