Warning: MASSIVE Medical/Measurement Error & Unprofessional Service I am writing this to warn other consumers to stay far away from this business. This establishment made a massive, DANGEROUS medical error on my prescription reading glasses lenses. I came in with another provider's prescription only because I couldn't find a frame to my liking, and decided to go with this business since they had the frames that I liked. But on the first day I walked into the store, the blonde-haired lady just guessed my Pupillary Distance (PD) because she claimed to be a "PROFESSIONAL" and doesn't require the use of any medical equipment. She eyeballed it. She made my glasses at a 66 PD when my actual, medically documented PD is a 50. This 16mm mistake made the glasses completely unwearable and caused me severe eye strain. When I brought this to her attention, the owner became incredibly hostile, loud, and unprofessional. She couldn't let me or my mother get a word in. Instead, she felt the need to be a bully, claiming my eyes are "one of the thousands," accusing my eye doctor of not writing my PD down, and saying my insurance is at fault here, anyone to blame but herself. The situation became so bad that we had to involve our insurance company (Fidelis) just to return the defective glasses and get our benefits reversed. The owner is dishonest, lacks basic professional ethics, and creates a hostile environment for customers when she is at fault and is called out on her mistakes. Save your time, your money, your mental health, and most importantly, your vision. Go elsewhere. If I could rate it a zero, I would.
