I have been patient to write this review so I could get through the process of handling strabismus with my 4 year old daughter. To start, at a completely different establishment , they turned us away and refused to work with us after driving over an hour after about a minute of complaining from my girl... I called every place in town, then I called Abita, right from the first phone call they have been nothing but amazing. They have a specialist come from far away and the whole process has been great considering the circumstances. The ladies all worked great with my sort of defiant girl and Dr. Bach was also awesome through the whole process. We did glasses , patching, and ultimately surgery... if you're looking for a local eye dr office that has heart and talent, I don't believe I could have ended up at a better place. Will highly recommend, no doubt, as many times as I can. Thank you

I went to abita eye group yesterday in Spring Hill. Walking in the atmosphere is very serene and quite. Debbie at the front desk was very kind and helpful, I spoke with her on the phone prior to my appointment and she was very helpful and scheduled me for an early date due to my retina detachment. I appreciate that fact that she was showing concern. The nurse who took me back and asked me questions and dilated my eyes was very patient and kind and when she was doing the dilation, she explained everything she was doing. She took me back to get pictures of my eyes done and she did great. Now for the two doctors I seen, I believe the first was a PA, I cannot remember his name, so I don't want to just throw a name out there, but he was just great, he explained the photos they took of my eyes, he was kind enough to show me what a retina without an issues should look like, just very helpful. He really took his time with checking my eyes. And for Doctor Noel, I have never met a doctor who cared as much as he does. This was my first time ever meeting him and just amazing. He came in, he wanted to know whatever I knew, I explained and he went to work. At least an hour going back in fourth between my eyes, very thorough, and explained everything to me in layman's terms. Very satisfied with my appointment at Abita eye group, I would recommend them to anyone who needs an Opthalmologist.
The receptionist was so welcoming and nice. The eye doctors were very very patient with my non verbal daughter and very professional and understanding and the woman that helped pick out frames was so very nice and understanding. Will definitely be bringing my daughter back there for follow ups
My mother had to go in as an emergency . Before arriving at Abita, she attempted to go to 2 other offices and the staff was unwilling to help and pretty rude. When she walked in to Abita, Emma immediately called the Manager, Debbie and they helped my mom, no questions asked. It is great knowing that my mom was taken care of and that there are still some people that care enough to take an additional step to help. Thank you Abita Eye Group
Terrible service in getting your RX sent to another place to order contacts, after I paid $40.00 for the release of my contact lens RX, they then sent me a regular eyeglass prescription. My insurance covered 400.00 of exam and some change, and my out of pocket was 157.00 and still had to pay 40.00 for the wrong RX. Just FYI. I’m done!!
