A blessing in disguise!I went to the old Abraham Eye Associates / Aegis Eyecare location at Ellis Preserve only to find a completely empty office with absolutely nothing in it. It was incredibly frustrating to find out they had closed down without any notice on their website or map listing. However, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! In the aftermath of finding that empty building, I reached out to Dr. Kevin Mathes at MyEyeDr. just right down the street (3606 West Chester Pike). Their team was great and got me right in immediately. The entire experience was absolutely amazing. Dr. Mathes and his staff were fabulous, welcoming, and provided incredible care.If you are looking for the old practice, don't bother driving there—just go see Dr. Mathes down the road instead! Highly recommend.

I’ve seen Dr. Abraham several times now over the last 6 months for eye related issues, and he has been amazing each time! A few weeks ago, my eye started to become inflamed. I initially thought it was a stye, but it got worse. I got in to see Dr. Abraham, and he diagnosed it right away as shingles. I’m pregnant and was really upset that having shingles would affect my baby. Dr. Abraham was so kind, calm, and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything about shingles and assured me that baby would be fine. I felt so much better after he talked me through it. He made sure I was set up with the medication to start right away. It’s also so easy to book appointments online or call and get in quickly when needed. Plus I have never waited long to be seen. So thankful to have found Aegis!

Dr. Mark Abraham is truly exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough and takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident in your care. He never rushes appointments and genuinely listens, which is rare and so appreciated. His professionalism is matched by his kindness, and you can tell he truly cares about his patients and their long term eye health. The office experience is always smooth, and I leave every visit feeling reassured and well cared for. I cannot recommend Dr. Abraham highly enough. He is simply the best.

Dr. Abraham is great! He always has time for questions and doesn’t rush the appointment. I gave many issues with my vision and he handles it all kindly.

I have trusted Aegis Eyecare with my vision needs for 10+ years. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I'm extremely satisfied with the selection of eye glass frames and the step is always helpful polite and personable.
