If I could give 10 stars I would. This was my first time here and they were all fantastic. From the check in to check out. They inform me of absolutely every step what they were doing. Dr. Marrotte is the best and is extremely experienced. The woman who helped me pick out my frames was so helpful. I'm so happy I chose this place. I chose it based on reviews and they delivered. I highly recommend!

It took me a few weeks to write this review because my experience was surprisingly awful. I visited AccuVision in April to help diagnose if there may be something eye-related going on with my ocular migraines which increased in frequency after my son was born. After a thorough visit with some cool tech devices I hadn't previously seen, we determined my eyes were healthy and that I was overdue for a normal eye exam. This visit was fine. Good even! The recommended eye exam occurred in late May and I had my baby with me. Reception and the tech doing the initial parts of the eye exam were so sweet especially when my baby got fussy and needed to feed during the appointment. I was put in the exam room to await the doctor when my baby got fussy again so I breastfed him and apologized when the doctor came in as I was unlatching him. The doctor said "This is totally inappropriate for an eye exam." I tried to explain that we were done and ready for the exam but he either didn't hear me or intentionally ignored me, closed the door and left us alone in the room for 10 minutes. I was made to feel embarrassed and confused so ultimately I left before my exam was complete. As I opened the exam room door, the doctor was there saying that he "only meant that he can't do the eye exam with a baby on your lap." I didn't respond to him, let reception know I was leaving because I was so uncomfortable with how I was treated, and left. The location called me twice to discuss what happened but I preferred to keep our interaction in writing because honestly, this treatment was really hard for me to process. I could only find the portal on their website and provided my email address with my account of what happened and a request for them to make it right. They didn't write back. For nursing moms out there (or anyone) - I would recommend Sunset Eye Care on Belcher instead. I had a much more welcoming experience AND they also let me know that dilating my eyes while breastfeeding could have been harmful to my baby - something that AccuVision did not make me aware of.

The doctor Optometrist is very thorough and his expertise is great. I highly recommend the doctor Optometrist for anyone looking. His staff members Mrs. Christine and Ms. Abigail are very nice and helpful. I would give 10 stars if possible.
