This review is for Dr. Perry, he gets the whole 5 stars! He’s been my mom’s eye Dr for over 20 years! He’s an amazing ophthalmologist! He genuinely cares for his patients, explains everything thoroughly. As far as front office experience, I’ll give them zero stars!! The office people are always rude and unprofessional. I’ve experienced it and I’ve seen it how the front office acts with patients! Other than that my mom is willing to put up with this issue just to see Dr. Perry!

Brought my wheel chair bound mom in for her 1:40pm appointment. We waited 40min to be seen, and was sent back to the waiting room to wait another 30min. This place DOESN'T respect our time. I work full time and try to get my mom to her doctor visits, it makes it extremely difficult when trying to coordinate her visits and ensure I have enough time to get back to my other responsibilities. The entire waiting room was jam packed, not wheel chair friendly 😒 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It seems to me like they overbook on a daily basis. Customer service and customer experience is important, this place doesn't seem to understand that.

I had an appointment scheduled at this office but unfortunately did not end up seeing the doctor due to how the appointment was handled. First, I never received a confirmation call for my appointment. I had to call the office myself to confirm the time and make sure the appointment was still happening. When I arrived and checked in, I asked whether the doctor was running on time. The staff told me that the doctor was on schedule. However, 20 minutes later I still had not been called in. During that time, I learned that two patients ahead of me had 1:00 pm appointments and had not yet been seen, even though it was already around 1:30 pm. I asked the front desk about my wait time and explained that I needed to leave by 2:00 pm. I was told not to worry and that they would do their best, but by 1:35 pm it was clear the schedule was significantly behind. I didn’t feel comfortable rushing through a medical appointment, so I decided to leave. It would have been much more professional to notify patients in advance if the doctor was running behind rather than telling patients the doctor was on time. Additionally, the check-in process seemed disorganized. No one asked me to fill out any paperwork or requested my driver’s license. Overall, the front desk service and communication were very poor, which made for a frustrating experience.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Acuity eye group. Dr. Zhao and his staff are more than qualified to meet the need of those seeking vision care. The atmosphere is filled with enthusiasm, concern, and integrity. All nationalities are welcome. And excepts most insurance. 💯💯🙏😀😀😀

Dr. Yasamin Moghtader is an exceptional optometrist. She was all ears to my concerns and explained the condition of my eyesight in a way that is easy for me to understand. She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations. There is only one thing I’ve noticed every time I go to this office for my appointment. Entire staff are not really that friendly and approachable. They don’t even introduce themselves when they call you in. Not very welcoming.
