The office clerk, Danny, was very, very helpful in clarifying my medication prescription and worked the extra mile to clarify with my health insurance what was required to get approval. More over, he reached out to ensure that it would be processed without requiring additional medical visits, as the processing has been stalled by my insurance for months. Dr. Ward took special care to make sure my treatment was as painless as possible. Previous experiences with other doctors left me in pain or very discomforted, but I experienced none of those side effects from the treatment he administered..

My initial appointment experience was good. The Doctor was great. I went for a contact lens and glasses exam. They charged it to my insurance (VSP), I paid a copay and everything seemed fine, until I went to get new glasses and was told I would not be covered. So I called VSP and they told me that because the office charged my contact lens exam to insurance, they would only cover the purchase of contacts and not glasses. No one told me this at the appointment and I'm not an insurance expert. Why would anyone expect that to be the case anyway. Many people use both contacts and glasses. VSP told me to talk to the office to reverse the charge and pay out of pocket so they could cover my glasses. So I reached out to Danny, who was extremely difficult to get on the phone, but once I did, he said he would escalate it to a manager. Well that was over three weeks ago and I've emailed and called over 50 times and no response or answer at the office. The call center I get redirected to also is completely unhelpful with a significant language barrier. So now I'm just here, stuck without coverage for a pair of glasses until January 2027. I wish I could say better things about this place, but my experience has become infuriating. Days of wasted time driving, calling, emailing and getting nowhere along with the amount of stress this has brought me. The office should be aware that VSP does not cover glasses if you get a contact lens exam. It's absolutely ridiculous they are unaware of it. I've been patient and very cool about this whole thing, but because of their total incompetence now I have to pay entirely out of pocket for glasses and resort to writing a stupid review on here because no one will even pick up the goddamn phone over there and just help me correct this issue.
Tried to get an appointment as a new patient. After 17 minutes of back n forth couldn't clarify whether the Group accepts the insurance or the insurance doesn't have coverage. One of the worst front desk interactions. Maybe it was a robot not a human.
The doctor was pleasant and knowledgeable of his profession. Staff is friendly enough.
great patient care and support from the receptionist, nurses and Dr. Michael Ward!
